No atmosphere, small serving area but felt like we had to flag down servers.
£30 platter and £60 platter not much size difference, just that you get extra piece of chicken and extra chips.
Burnt ends- don’t order!! Literally the saltiest thing I’ve ever eaten I had to spit it back out.
I would only go back for their wings/ they were amazing.
We visited after friends had raved about it, but we were very disappointed, the place is very small it feels like you’re all sitting on top of one another! As for the food it’s highly over priced, most of the meat was just full of fatty bits! And as for the service charge that is added to your bill without notice is absolutely disgraceful, it should be at the customer’s discretion if they want to tip or not! Sadly we won’t be returning and won’t be recommending this place to anyone! Also not a good look when the chef leaves the restaurant and then returns with four back of frozen French fries to which they charge £5 a portion!! Not impressed at all! £90 for a dinner for two with only one drink each….shocking!!!
This was the first visit to Korean cowgirl and I would 10000% go back!
The food was absolutely delicious, we shared the dirty platter with a side of boneless wings which were packed of flavours!
The service was great, staff were very friendly and helpful!
Can’t wait for the next time we have dinner there !
Over priced felt like I had not been out for a meal. In and out so quick. Paid 3 course meal price only had 1 course as
not much of a menu.
They have changed the menu and seem to have doubled the price! Such a shame - we used to love it there but I won’t be going again.
Very overpriced for the quality of the food served, £8 for what tasted like a nesquik milkshake 🙄 and pretty sure my beef was microwaved, won’t ever be going back
2nd visit. Great food and service. £230 for 4 people
The food was amazing, staff were super friendly, however, the door needs keeping an eye on as people kept leaving it open and the weather was freezing!
Our first time visiting , there was 5 of us !
Lovely food , and atmosphere
Staff are lovely
Unrivalled food, we’ll priced and the staff were able to advise on an allergy to great effect.
Thought would give this a try. Not my cup of tea I’m afraid.
Food nothing wrong but nothing exceptional. Venue lacked atmosphere.
I’ve heard such good things about this place but left very disappointed, it was okay, nothing special, 7 pounds for sweet potato fries? And brisket beef ends, I thought would have come crips but came drenched in sauce which was far to rich. Wouldn’t rush back to return.
We booked for a special occasion and it wasn’t a great experience. We had to ask to order drinks numerous times before we eventually had our drinks order taken. The food was lovely but we had to wait for the bill to get hand wipes so had to go to the toilets to wash our hands. The bill came and they had added extras that we didn’t have. Once rectified the service charge for 3 people cost more than a meal. The service wasn’t worth the charge but we paid the over priced bill and left. We won’t be returning
Amazing food and great service. I have been to South Korea and the food tasted just like it did over there. I will be back again for sure.
Not a bad restaurant, but my main issue with it is that it claims to be Korean-this Korean-that whereas it is clearly a fusion food place. For example, there is no such thing as "korean halloumi", halloumi is Greek/Cypriot!! Furthermore, the bullgogi burger did not use bulgogi (thinly sliced beef, marinated) but used another kind of beef. Finally, the yangnyeom sauce was nice and rather authentic on the fried chicken, however, the adding of mustard on top was completely unnecessary and made it unauthentic, yet claimed to be Korean fried chicken. The price was quite high for the food, but it was tasty nonetheless - just not Korean
Food was fantastic could not fault it.
Just don’t look at the menu before you go, the one on the website is 30% cheaper than in the restaurant which was a little disappointing. There’s also a nice service charge added to the bill. Over all the food was great the service was ok but felt really rushed. I would recommend going to the other restaurant at the cave hotel for a nicer place.
Suggested meat platter was very tasty and good selection of sides for four people. Venue could do with a little updating. Good experience and good service.
Service wasn’t great, atmosphere was very glum, but food was good albeit pricey (£45) for what it is. Had the Mini Cowgirl platter between 2 with an extra portion of wings and some mac and cheese, and the meat elements were all very good and there was plenty of food (with the extras we ordered - £15) but for £30 for 2 slices of brisket, a medium pile of pulled pork, and 3 wing and some fries, you can’t help but feel ripped off…
Lovely and will defo return again, the staff were super attentive and the food really tasty!
Brilliant value for money, and great taste. We ordered the platter, plus a few sides, and we would absolutely order from here again. Lovely service too.
Great night - delicious food in generous quantities. Everything we had was delicious - boneless wings, beef brisket & burnt ends! Will be coming back!
Family meal for husbands birthday . Ordered Dirty cow girl sharing plate for two . Chicken and brisket delicious but unfortunately very let down by the pulled pork and ribs as far far too salty and not very hot . Not sure if we would return :(
Had the sharing platter for 2. Absolutely amazing. Won't need to eat for 2 days now 😂
Lovely food and service as per usual, would reccomend to anyone
Fantastic food and service. Great experience and can’t wait to book up again
Just wow, amazing food, truly delicious and top notch. Well done Korean Cowgirl!
Lovely restaurant with a good vibe, the service was also really good
The only thing that let it down was the beef and the ribs were so salty, almost to the point we could not eat any more.
Strangely that day bumped into some friends and they said exactly the same.
We’ve been a few times and every time they never disappoint! My and my boyfriend go and get the dirty cowgirl platter which is such good value for money and the quality of the food is amazing definitely recommend
I ate at the cave but the food here wasn’t as good. Wasn’t as good as I expected. Staff were great especially the manager on the night. Joe????
We visited the Korean Cowgirl for a family lunch before moving our son into Uni as it was within 5mins drive. The food was amazing!! We will definitely be returning. The honey butter wings just melted in your mouth. The Brisket was SO tender and the pulled pork and ribs were perfect; being from Alabama, I know my bbq :) and this was so delicious.
The 3 of us had the Ludicrous Cowgirl Platter and it was just enough and the Fries were PERFECT. I know that's a silly thing to point out but the crispiness was just right on every single fry.
Cute, small & intimate place. I can't wait to go back and probably will do often
We shared a platter and the sticky ribs and chicken wings were absolutely delicious. The Korean salad was light and fresh and cocktails were fabulous. The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is the cleanliness of the toilets! I was tempted to look in the kitchen but I dare not as it may put me off the food!
Excellent food, friendly and efficient service. Will definitely recommend and be back in future.
Food was outstanding. Service was slowwwww and inefficient. Had to ask for absolutely everything. Would go again though, for the smoked brisket.
We were really looking forward to returning. We haven't been for 4 years, but it seems to have gone downhill.
The food was cold, service was slow. The presentation of the food was fine, but the Mac and cheese was tasteless, the brisket was fatty. It's a shame.
When we came last time, the share toaster had a variety of dipping bits, this time just giant marshmallows, wasn't worth the money. Shame.
We really enjoyed out visit. We ordered The Dirty Cowgirl sharing platter plus Pickled Mouli side - this was plenty of food for 2 hungry people with decent appetites.
We also asked the waitress for a side of Kimchi - it's not on the menu as an item but it is available in one of the burgers. We were really pleased with the customer focus and flexibility shown by the waitress organising this for us. Great service.
The Brisket would have been a bit on the dry side without the kimchi and mouli - but these were perfect accompaniments. The ribs were very good but the best items on the platter were the chicken wings (boneless) with the Yang nyum sauce. Absolutely delicious.
Definitely a repeat visit next time we're in Canterbury - hopefully Korean Cowgirl will open a branch in Ashford at some point - there's definitely a market for it.
Lovley small restaurant food was amazing very quick service would go back again
Service was slow even though it wasn't particularly busy time. Mains were decent but We didn't get the side we ordered had to wait a long time for desert once it had been ordered. There was a service charge of some kind added on a bill was more than expected when we got it (that was after debating having the price of the sides we didn't get taken off) real shame as I read such good reviews.
Lovely good as always. Toilets need to be cleaned regularly they are disgusting.
Really good food, had the biggest platter. Good flavours, pulled pork only just warm. Other food was hot. Could have definitely done with more brisket.
Would expect just a little more for the money. Mac and cheese was a tiny portion. But overall nice, tasty and good ambience.
Poor service, asked for sauces and drink never got them
