    We waited over half an hour for our food which wasn’t great, granted it was a match day but still a bit too long. We ordered fish and chips which was fine and a chicken tikka masala which wasn’t. It was 4 bits of chicken in a very thin sauce accompanied by a small serving of rice, definitely not £16 worth of food. We will probably be back as this is part of our gameday but definitely won’t order the chicken tikka masala again.

    Very poor ordering service ie a lot of people standing around talking had to go and ask if we could have a children’s menu and order drinks , food service very good ie ( the crew ) very polite and helpful Food fish and chips very greasy a lot of batter not a lot of fish Then paid the bill £124.99 but didn’t check the discretionary service charge £13.89 !!!

    The food wasn’t particularly good for what it cost and an automatic service charge added to the bill. Waitress was lovely but overall I wouldn’t rush back

    The staff were all amazing and very helpful. The place was very cozy and clean and the mood is just so chill. Me and my friends had a great time. Food was great, a bit on the pricey side but worth it. Would come back again. 👏🏼

    Unfortunately the restricted menu on match day was poor for vegetarians so we had to leave without eating and eat elsewhere due to the poor choice.

    The chicken tikka masala with rice was excellent, battered fish was slightly overdone but was still nice. Deserts of chocolate bomb and cheesecake were excellent . Not too busy in the restaurant, even on a match day, and reasonably priced given it was a hotel restaurant. I would recommend.

    The food was very poor quality and overpriced for what we received. My husband was given a completely different meal to the one he ordered but the service was so slow, and it was so difficult to get someone’s attention, that he just gave up and ate it anyway! Our drinks also didn’t arrive until after we’d eaten half our meals. Won’t be back again.

    A lovely environment with efficient and attentive service. The menu provided excellent choice and the food was delicious. The staff were lovely to deal with and paid attention to detail.

    All seemed a bit disorganised. Ordered pie and mash was told there was no mash so I ordered chips. Meal arrived with mash and chips. Other meal sent back as it contained a hair.

    Nice venue and atmosphere although I was expecting the dining experience to be a little more special it just seemed your usual run of the mill food you could get at any pub which was a little disappointing.

    Great experience from start to finish. Although early, we were made welcome and we were taken to a table by the window, offered water for the table without having to ask. Our waitress was excellent, giving us time to offer drinks and wait for my daughter to arrive. Great choices on the menu, including vegetarian and a good choice of wines. Although it became very busy, the level of service didn't drop and will definitely visit again, when next in Leicester and hopefully, stay in the hotel. The whole place had a good feel to it.

    Over priced for the quality of food. Burgers had un chewable ( gristle). Chicken was Luke warm at best. Fries both norm and sweet potato had a strong after taste probably if the cooking oil. Chicken pie was fine but potato was tasteless.. Service was ok but 12.5% added to bill ? Location is great for the Rugby but will not use again or recommend.

    The decor is beautiful! The waiting staff were great. Bar staff a bit sullen. I have an issue with having service charge applied before I choose. And especially at the bar!!!! You look bad asking for it to be removed which is why it’s done. We asked for it to be removed and left a tip that we wanted to leave. I feel the staff don’t get the tip anyway if it’s done on the machine either. Just because you can afford to stay somewhere nice doesn’t mean you should be ripped off.

    No one else in the restaurant, no music, so was very quiet. Service was just ok. We sat for over 10 minutes after eating wondering where the waiter had gone to. So in the end we got up and decided to pay at the bar. Although had to stand in a long queue to do so. Bar area had much nicer atmosphere. Food was very nice though, and as you can eat in the bar, will eat there in future.

    You should let customers know that starters and mains will be brought out together when ordering. Overall the food was very minimal and the prices where high. The service charge is already added to the bill.

    We waited 15 minutes before our order was taken and then a further 50 minutes to be served after asking twice. We’ve eaten her before when the hotel is full and no problem but yesterday 😩 We ordered what we thought were starters ( sharing platters ) and they arrived at the same time as the mains. Told that there are no starters !!!! That said the manager kindly took 20% off the bill. If the hotel is fully booked then I would have to say that the expectation is that they would be busy and more staff would be needed than a normal day. Food was good when it arrived.

    Very good atmosphere prior to Tigers game. Need to improve standing bar service, takes too long at busy times with poor organisation. Having a table is fantastic and much easier.

    It was a disappointing experience dor Mother's day,there were only 2 tables booked at 1.30 one of which was ours...yet service took forever, despite the place being over staffed. At the end of the meal when it came to paying we had cash and were told nocash card only which wasn't stated anywhere!! Absolute shambles.

    Good food, but not good enough for the cost for us. Very nice atmosphere. Service was slow for the wait-staff, we were waiting 40 minutes for drinks. Overall a good experience but not one we will rush back to.

    Went on Saturday night at 7:30pm. Ordered a glass of red wine and a beer, came with the beer. When we asked where the wine was we were told they had run out of that one. We ordered burgers and a lamb dish for mains. The server came back 5 minutes later to say they had run out of lamb. There was no awareness of what was available when we ordered. The restaurant was not busy so how it had run out early on a Saturday night was beyond me. I will not be returning!

    Food was so overpriced for something incredibly bland and boring. Servers didn’t know who took our order and delivered our food so in the end we had 5 different servers. Please don’t waste your money here.

    New restaurant still finding its feet.. at start ordered drinks that didn't all arrive but we're still billed... one plate of food arrived after 7 others on table had finished theirs... They seemed surprised that as it was match day at Tigers next door there were lots of people looking for food and drink

    We ordered the valentines package, to be advised when we sat down that nobody else had booked that so it wasnt available. Restaurant was lovely, and staff reasonably pleasant. It was clear that they were new and didnt really have a plan. we were asked 4 times whether we wanted to give our order within 3 mins of being seated, by 3 different people.

    We were a party of 5 who had bottomless brunch. The food was outstanding, one dish came incorrectly and was immediately replaced but had obviously been freshly cooked. All the staff were very friendly and efficient constantly checking if we needed more drinks etc. Excellent value for money and nice on a brunch to have a variety of slightly smaller plates than one big one. Will definitely return.

    Pre- booked for 6 on matchday and rang twice to ensure table secured On arrival, no welcome at all. Went to the kitchen and nobody there, finally secured one waiter. Ordering drinks his knowledge of available drinks was limited. Food mediocre and slow un-attentive service. Asked for bill but did not arrive. Paid on way out and was asked for a service charge! Spent 2 hours in restaurant for one course and drinks mainly waiting. Its a shame for such an anticipated hotel, the experience and staff training should be so poor
