We had a nice lunch, service was good and the location is just stunning and full of natural light. However, the set menu isn’t really anything special so if you go for that you might want to manage your expectations. My personal highlight was the Belgravia Bloom cocktail, delicious and good looking enough for the ‘gram!

All food delicious - congratulations to the chef and the kitchen team. The service was not good - we had to go to the desk to get any at all on more than one occasion. I asked that menus be brought to the bar 20 minutes befor our table was due. Nothing happened. We arrived in the restuarant itself and no water was offered or brought. Altogether rather neglectful and slow thrughout the meal. We usually had to pour our own water and wine. The serving staff needs to keep an eye out for when people are waving frantically trying to attract attention, and always be scouting the room instead of chatting inside the booths! I should have reduced the service charge of £100 on my bill. But it really has put me off returning for a while, to a reaturant I have been coming to quite often in the last 10 years

Very enjoyable - the room and entertainment were both lovely. The service was slow at the start but overall pleasant. We received a little treat to mark us being there for a celebration which we appreciated. Food very tasty, particularly the starters. We would come back again!

Such a great experience - the food was excellent, especially getting three courses, hors d’oeuvres and petits fours for £44 in a Michelin star restaurant. Only dropped a star because of the markup on the wine, which I regret googling, but I guess it’s part and parcel of upscale dining. It was also £7 for a bottle of water which was a bit of a surprise on the receipt! What really set this experience apart was the service, particularly from Giorgia - she was excellent! She brought over a little surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday which was such a nice touch.

We have just returned from being 'locked in and down' in Australia for nearly 2 years - and was so pleased that Celeste was just as wonderful as we remembered her! Food and service still excellent and we are looking forward to dining again.

Service was quite slow and due to the way food is brought out from the kitchen and left for the waiters on trays some food was not as warm as we would have liked. Pianist was brilliant and took requests.

Booked for mother in law birthday. Received a tiny chocolate cake. Was supposed to get a glass of champagne on arrival but did NOT. Wrong wine poured into glass more than one. Eton mess was dollop of ice cream surrounded by berries. Very disappointing

Food was good. Lunch set menu is a good price to enjoy Michelin food. Staff were very friendly. However there were a number of maintenance staff (3 or 4) carrying out some disruptive works (to some railings) right in the middle of service. Not ok & shouldn’t be allowed. They were almost on top of another table for guests. Painting going on in the lobby as we left also. Yes it was a Monday in August but when you’re in a top London hotel you should be able to expect better.

We had a lovely meal at Celeste and especially enjoyed the ambience, enhanced by the live music. The food was great and the service was fine, although there were signs of understaffing, especially when the room filled up. What disappointed us, though, was the complete lack of attention paid by the arrogant sommeliers who only seemed to care about the tables ordering bottles of wine, while completely ignoring our table where we chose to order by the glass. When they did show up, the wine was carelessly splashed into the glass with no offer of a tasting! We have never experienced something like this in all my years of eating at fine dining restaurants in London. Real shame.

Been many times to Celeste ans the service was lacklustre and def sub standard ! Out party went for 5 course tasting menu . But to our surprise our first starter arrived before the bread and canapés! So we sat there with the foie gras starters when the canapés and bread arrived and it was messsy. Waiters moving anything around the talks to be able to put everything on table!! But to add further insult nobody even apologised esp the restaurant manager Valerio . I was actually me pointing their mistake out to one of waiters. Anyway we let it go and then before dessert arrived Valerio asked if we wanted dessert wine I was only one to have it! So when bill came he then told us my dessert wine was on house ( guess to rectify problem). So why then did he not mention that when asking if we wanted said wine?? It was a party of three so in my opinion all of us should been offered a glass on the house !! But he was def not cut out to be a manager , no personality and not engaging whatsoever. To this date we still waiting for Celeste to call us back( they promised to call last week)

Once again not disappointed. This was a total delight. The food was stunning. You pay for guaranteed quality. There is definite value in the menu of the day. But the A la Carte menu is divine. Worth every penny. The service and staff are perfect. See you again.

The food was atrocious and we were misled as to what was included. When the bill came it was a surprise as when booking it was to be a set menu. The bread was microwaved because when it cooled it was rubbery and chewy. The staff were good but I would not be eating there again. I booked it as a birthday dinner and there was no acknowledgement. It was not a pleasant experience.

Appreciate it was the reopening day, but it was a shoddy experience from start to finish. Didn’t offer us a drink / take our order. When we ordered wine, it then took so long we’d finished our starter before it arrived. Over 3 hours to serve 4 dishes. Huge wait between starters and mains. A good gesture in offering us a glass of wine to compensate but they really should have just discounted that dish altogether. Fish seemed like it had been waiting to be served for a long time / overcooked. Lots of small errors I wouldn’t care about but were noticeable given it’s supposedly a top tier restaurant, like saying something is just coming as it’s being plated, only for further delay, or taking things from the table incorrectly. Overall it just wasn’t up to standard and was the worst meal we’ve had at a Michelin starred restaurant in memory, and one of the worst full stop. Given this was a £500 meal, I wouldn’t ever go back. By contrast Petrus a week earlier was faultless.
