   Enjoy lunch on Easter Sunday service was brilliant even though they were busy, completely stuffed couldn't finish it all well worth visit as always.

   Food was reasonable pub grub. The duck starter lacked taste and was dry . The scampi would have been better been described as scampi nuggets.

   One of the best Sunday lunches we have ever had. Atmospheric and charming pub. Nice rustic dining area. Very pleasant and helpful staff. But the Sunday roasts were amazing. Best roast pork, amazing crackling, roast potatoes, mash, lots of vegetables, and real homemade Yorkshire pudding! A great experience and excellent value.

    The best roast dinner I’ve had in years, so many different types of vegetables cooked in so many ways and the most succulent meat and perfect Yorkshire’s, stuffing and roasties. Looked after brilliantly by excellent staff. Lovely and hot and just delicious!
