   We booked last minute for 7 mums, babies and buggies. They put us in a separate area and couldn’t have been more accommodating! Food and cake always amazing!

   Lovely breakfast with my daughter and granddaughter. It was quiet when we arrived but took a while for someone to come and seat us which didn’t give a very good first impression. The servers were very friendly and the breakfast was very nice but seemed a little expensive for what we had.

    This is a lovely cafe. It’s got a great atmosphere and amazing food. The staff are very friendly too. Definitely my favourite place to go for all occasions or just a treat

    Feels cruel rating two stars but when two=fair that does seem to be the most accurate of our experience. Recently attended for breakfast and ordered four dishes as we wanted to try a variety of the flavours. Ordered two baked egg dishes, one pancake dish and one French toast. Washed them down with toffee nut and pumpkin spice lattes. Unfortunately the service wasn’t much to write about, one member of staff seemed to be doing it all on her own while others seemed to be trying to do their bare minimum. There was a long wait for coffees to arrive and to catch someone for the bill. Not the end of the world as we weren’t in a rush but the wait was noticeable. The food looked absolutely incredible, presentation was wonderful. But of the four dishes we ordered we were only really impressed with one. Pancakes felt reheated (a bit stale?) and only warm, French toast was luke warm on arrival but a nice texture. The bacon and mushroom baked eggs were fantastic we enjoyed those, the other baked eggs (spinach and feta) were fair. Would probably return for coffee and cake (although we didn’t try any they looked nice) but don’t think we’d go back for a sit down meal.

    Lovely place. Service was poor though, waited to be seated as they were too busy bringing stock in. Came to serve us quick at first and bring food, mentioned we would have coffee and cake after but nobody came near us ended up having to wait in a queue to order even though they told us it’s table service. Once we finished and could see us getting jackets etc on they cleaned the table which I’m sure they could of waited till we had moved not like there was people waiting to be seated. Could do with a few kids options on the menu. I did ask for a portion for my son which they did do but nice to have an option available on the menu so you feel kids are welcome too.

    We take our grandchildren to The Little Bakery and they always enjoy it. Yesterday was no exception. The service was very good as was the service. We will be back.

    What a great find, delicious food, with lovely staff. Our party had the French toast and filled rolls recommend them all. Table next to us had the afternoon tea, will definitely be back to try that. Would definitely say book before you go, very busy when we were there.

    Table service was slow to order and clear plates. (Food came quickly). We were at a table down stairs at the back which was a bit of a sad little area. We felt a bit forgotten. Brunch was yummy.

    A Mother's Day treat that 4 of the family got to share! It was so refreshing to have different savouries as part of the afternoon tea package, instead of just the usual sandwiches. As a party with lots of dietary requirements, The Little Bakery, were more than accommodating and as everything is baked on site, they advised it was no hassle for them at all. My mum said it was the tastiest and best selection of afternoon tea delights she's had - and being in her 80s, she's had a few!

    Expected better. Food quality ok, nothing to write home about. Felt a little tired and messy at times, perhaps even dirty. £3.55 for a tiny cupcake was also a bit of a shock.

    Our initial interaction with staff was good, really polite and helpful taking our 3 orders. We ordered two full Scottish breakfasts and an eggs benedict. The two Scottish breakfasts arrived at the same time, one of the breakfasts came with scrambled eggs instead of fried, this was pointed out and they immediately went to rectify this. They left the correct breakfast and did not return again for at least 10 minutes. There was no offer of sauce or salt for the one breakfast at the table. When they returned, the breakfast which had the eggs to be changed no longer had a pot of beans on the plate and the eggs Benedict was cold. The bacon was excellent but that’s about it. The scrambled eggs were horrible, the homemade tattie scone was the consistency of an omelette and tasted awful. The beans tasted dirty and had little specks of grizzle through them. The majority of the Scottish breakfasts were left, the eggs Benedict was nice (although served cold as it had clearly been left sitting whilst they rectified the fried eggs). After this, no staff approached the table to ask how our food was, if we wanted anymore drinks etc. It was busy and the staff were running around frantically. It was a really chaotic atmosphere. If the food was nice then this would never be an issue. We had to then get up and go pay for our bill at the counter. During which, the staff member could be heard loudly saying to make sure we paid for the food we’d eaten at the table, as if expecting us not to. 2/3 of us ordered some brownies and baked goods. These were delicious. Poor experience overall which is a shame as our last experience was so good which made us want to return. It’s a shame it’s gone downhill in this way. Really disappointed.

    Booked in for lunch and had a lovely afternoon! Chose soup with bread and then coffee and cake! Huge choice of cakes! All very large and very tasty! Totally recommend and totally going back!!

    Tables were sat close together so felt a bit squashed in. We couldn't get the Afternoon Tea because apparently you had to request that in the box when booking the table. Despite there being no instruction anywhere on the website to do so. Had burger instead which was very nice. But then kicked off table after hour and a half because of next booking so had to get cakes to take away. So not enough time to eat 2 courses. Felt rushed. Cakes were delicious but pricey.

    Didn't get table we had requested when booked (pre booked for about 6 weeks) - was given to a smaller party which seemed odd. Food was cold / hard like it had been sitting . We returned one meal for this reason they got fresh meal and sadly that person soon after became unwell. Will not go back.

    Had a lovely breakfast here. We all ordered different foods and we were all satisfied with our meals. Staff were friendly. Excellent selection of cakes for takeway too.
