Excellent customer service, waiter very good. Food taste was very good, as was the selection. Only negative was the portion sizes. They are small and do not include a side. We order six between 4. Overall, this didn’t ruin a thing and I would still recommend and return.
Great food and great service, best seafood in Nottingham!
We thoroughly recommend this restaurant, the service was so friendly, the food was first class. Every thing about this meal was spot on
I took my partner for our anniversary. He loves sea food and I'd never tried lobster. For my first experience the staff showed me what to do and I just dug in. He loved it, including the fresh oysters. The food was tasteful. We'd definitely go back again. I'll be recommending this to my friends.
We received excellent service from start to finish and the food was exceptional. They really made my Daughter's birthday special. Lovely venue too. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks for providing a great evening.
A very pleasant environment, really helpful and friendly staff. An excellent menu for Fish lovers. A really nice experience and well worth the drive.
Food was great, our waiter Scott was excellent and everything was perfect. Wonderful night for a special occasion and reasonable prices. Thank you!
Had lobster sea food platter. Very good.
Impressed had another lobster and scallops
Really excellent whole fish dishes....the dbest we have found in Nottingham. Ambience OK, but could be better.....but then this is a feature of the restaurant !
We ordered 1 lobster cooked in 2 ways - cold and baked with garlic butter. And scallops in red wine (can't remember the exact ingredients). My daughter and I liked the garlic butter lobster better. The scallop dish which I personally would say a must try dish.
We had the lobster special and it was increbile! Will certainly go again soon.
Another lovely meal. The plaice is absolutely beautiful. If you like fish, this is the restaurant for you, and it isn't overpriced! Very helpful staff. Thoroughly recommend it.
Last visited when in Nottingham 3 years ago and the meal then was excellent; glad to say the quality of food and service was still of the same excellence. Will definitely return again when next in Nottingham for the cricket.
Great little restaurant, small but cosy. Fish was great and decent size portions.
Great value, great food very friendly polite staff, we went when the weather was really warm the only downfall was no air conditioning, so bit stuffy especially when it got busy. Still enjoyed It.
Given its position on a main road, we were surprised and pleased by the relaxed and friendly atmosphere and the pleasant environment. The food is just what they say - it is a fish-based menu with a Thai accent in the recipes. We enjoyed all the food which was first class, and the waiting staff were very helpful and explained items on the menu when asked.
La reserva no estaba acreditada. Pero creo que todo partió de un error en el sistema ya que aparentemente fue realizada en un resto de nombre igual en Inglaterra. Nuestra reserva fue con la intención para el de Dublin- Irlanda
We were here for lunch, it was very quiet which I really liked. However, the restaurant is small and I could imagine that it could be rather loud and noisy in the evening (but this is only a guess). The food is pricey but tastes great. I would recommend it!
Absolutely fabulous. I just wish more people knew about this place. Service was outstanding, food was amazing.
Big fan of seafood always have to travel out of nottingham or overseas. But not any more outstanding food.
Wide choice of fish and seafood dishes for a lunch menu.
delicious food in pleasant surroundings. Lots of variety on the menu - several fish dishes to choose from.
Very unassuming shop front behind which is a great little restaurant. Varied menu but chose the lobster. Good sized and reasonably priced.
We picked this restaurant out on a visit to Nottingham to celebrate an anniversary, since my wife is a fan of seafood and the menu is very extensive (check the board for extra dishes). We had the whole lobster grilled with garlic butter for the main dish, accompanied by good value wine. No disappointments at all and despite the competition for eateries in the city, we would be very happy to eat there again.
Tasty food at reasonable prices. Would recommend the lemon sole and prawn fried rice. The whole lobster was a little tough (the flesh), which disappointing but still tasty.
Lovely starters of Prawn rolls and prawn on toast - freshly prepared and cooked gave them that nice prawn taste that suggests that they had been freshly caught. We went for the Seafood platter , but didn't fancy 6 oysters. The waiter was more than happy to swop them but suggested, that as they had been fried and had a different taste, we should try two for the experience. I have to say the taste was completely different and i wouldn't hesitate to have six next time. Wine was reasonably priced and we enjoyed the evening. We would definitely go back to try the other dishes
First visit and had a lovely evening. It was a birthday celebration and we were given a window table, a birthday card and a complimentary dessert which was really appreciated. Slight problem with one meal was quickly rectified. Would definitely go back and pleased to hear there is another one in Beeston.
Went with friends just want to try it out not disappointed good food friendly good all round but pricecy but with sea food and lobster and French wine you expect to pay more worth the money other friends will definitely going to come back
It was one of the best meals I have had in this country and the service was excellent and friendly. The crab Platter is to do for ( but have grilled!!!)
Although the outside wasn't what we were expecting (a bit more fish and chip shop than restaurant) the inside was lovely and the food was unreal. My boyfriend and I went there for my birthday and had a full lobster each which was incredible. Servers were so polite! It's clear they want to have an upmarket class to the restaurant which is why it's a shame about the outside but it's definitely a hidden gem!
