The staff was very friendly and my food was good and very aesthetically pleasing (I had the matcha pancakes. The cafe was very cozy and the decorations were pretty. Toilet was clean.

Great food. Very good costumer service. The only 2 things I didn't like was that we were sitted close to the main entrance door and every time someone came in or left all the cold air came in and we felt very cold. Also I noticed the owner didn't seem to talk nice to one of his employees.

This place was great, decent food, fairly good service in a lovely setting with reasonable prices (considering it’s in Chelsea). Only down sides were the tables being very close together so we felt a bit squished against the diners next to us. Also the location is kind of random, a bit of a walk from the train station and is quite isolated (no other restaurants or shops around it. Seemed to be down a residential side street). 4 stars

Loved this little independent cafe which is handily located close to Royal Hospital Chelsea for the Flower Show and also the Royal Physic Garden Christmas Fair. The food was delicious (we had the skinny eggs with rye bread, avocado and whipped goats cheese). Service was with a smile and the pricing was excellent considering we were in Chelsea. Well done The Locals, we will be back.

Fantastic location and food. I've been there before, so obviously love it..only issue was my friends food order wasnt placed, resulting in her having to wait (it was put as a rush order, but still...) and I was surprised that they didnt offer to take something off the bill for that error. Otherwise, it was great
The cafe itself was very nice and the quality of the food was good. However, we all felt that the value for money was poor, very small portions for high prices. £4.50 for a tea latte (no alternative milk)? £10 for one slice of toast with some avacado and feta? For that reason alone, I probably would not recommend this cafe to others. Service was also hit and miss. Our waitress was initially friendly and food came quickly. However, we also told quite abruptly (by the manager, I assume) that we had five minutes left at the table before the next sitting, despite having waited over an hour for the bill.

The waiters were exceptionally attentive and well-coordinated. The drinks & food was delivered in a timely manner and was overall very tasty. The Matcha pancakes were quite unique and exceptional - no wonder they are so popular.
Delicious food.. good coffee and healthy options a plenty! The mushrooms arincini are a must! Service was a bit slow but that could be because it was packed and it seems like a new place! Definitely coming back again!

eggs with truffle oil and wild mushrooms are amazing, the locals full healthy is ok, loads of salad, (too) little slices of bread, and difficult to eat as it is in a bowl.
Hot drinks are very good, water comes with mint and charcoal, just perfect.
Venue is absolutely great, urban jungle type with windows all around so loads of light.
Furniture is perfect and comfy.
Really recommended.
Food was very good and the service was good as well. Atmosphere was good as well, but a bit noisy. Even though it is understandable as it was full.
I didn't give 5 stars because of two reasons. The first one is that we have been marked no show, even though we were there. The second is because even though we've been asking for water, we didn't receive any.
All in all though it was a very good experience.
Kept seeing this cafe on Instagram and finally got to go!! The selection is amazing which is why myself and my sister chose 3 things to share.
Already booked again to bring my best friend and cannot wait for the amazing food again!! Especially the Shakshuka 😍👌🏼
