   Good food, really polite and friendly staff. You probably pay a little more than in some pubs but it's always enjoyable. Plenty of outdoor seating for a sunny day!

   My husband had the roast beef and couldn’t fault his meal. We got the specific table we had requested too so it was quiet with plenty of space. Staff were very attentive and polite, despite it being a busy service. We enjoyed our lunch and will be returning soon. Thank you.

   It was lovely sitting near the water on such a lovely day, and I loved the idea of an outside bar. Staff were courteous and service was good. Food was just ok- the burger was overdone and very expensive for what it was. Drinks very expensive.

   Great little venue with a nice vibe, the food was delicious and the service was efficient and attentive. We had a really enjoyable evening and we so pleased we decided to visit!

   Lovely garden, but the outside furniture is looking worn and ive noted on the last few visits the glass topped tables in particular are filthy. It put us off our food to be honest yesterday, as we had to wait ages for plates to share pizza etc. and therefore noticed the layers of dirt. Needs a thorough jetwash please.

    Havent been for a while and pleased to say it had improved in every respect so would go again..Rather noisy in dining area but didn't notice after a few glasses of wine. Worth a visit

    We booked a table online, which was really easy to do. We where asked to pay a £10 per head reservation charge, which I think is fair when so many people don’t turn up these days. When we arrived there was a wait for food because they where so busy, we where told roughly 50 mins, however the waitress was very quick to take our drinks and food order to get us into the queue. We had just finished our first drink when the waitress noticed we hadn’t had food yet, she did a fabulous job of managing the communication and keeping us comfortable while we waited, and was proactive about creating a plan when she recognised we hadn’t had a perfect experience. When the food arrived, it was good honest pub grub, everything was as we expected, and tasted fabulous! We could have walked away feeling really disappointed by our experience due to the wait, however the staff are so good at front of house service it didn’t feel negative at all!

    Good food overall. Had the fish pie and a pizza, both of which were very good. We followed with the cheesecake which was good but a bit dense and sticky toffee pudding which was very good but far too much toffee sauce (and I have a very sweet tooth!). Wine by the glass seemed a bit pricey. Staff polite and attentive. Got quite noisy by the time we left as we were the middle table between 2 large parties!

    Food was lovely. Disappointing that you have a Cocktail Menu, but the staff weren't skilled enough to make them properly - had 2 Passion Fruit Martinis and the 2nd was nothing like the first (sent it back as it was horrible). Also, why have a lovely posh restaurant and allow dogs inside. 1 dog went for another punter and 2 other dogs had a fight. Really off putting

    Very friendly and helpful staff, a variety of food choices and good drinks. The food was very tasty. We spent a very nice evening at the Inn and would certainly come back if we lived nearby.

    The setting is beautiful, it’s a really lovely venue and I would return in the summer, but only for a drink. We ordered a roast beef and a Wellington for our Sunday meal. The food came out 10 minutes before we got our drinks and we weren’t made aware that there was elements of our meal missing due to the kitchen running out of ingredients. We were only advised this after we asked about missing parts of our meal. The vegetables were undercooked and very crunchy, but the beef was over cooked and dry. The Wellington was over cooked and black on top, making cutting into it very difficult and it just shattered into hard pieces on the plate. Staff seemed rushed and eager to get us in and out despite there being not many people in the restaurant, for example, one person was still eating their main meal on the table next to us when the waiter came and asked if they wanted desert! No one came to check how our meal was whilst we were eating and we weren’t offered any more drinks. Very disappointing after such good reviews.

    Dining room was freezing as the door outside kept being left open. About a third of the menu was unavailable and we wernt told this until we ordered. Food arrived and the chips were cold. Portion sizes were OK, drinks were a little overpriced.

    Absolutely fantastic food ..fish eas so beautifully cooked especially 😋..our only thought was the music was really loud and rocky for 5.45 in a family and older demographic filled pub ...maybe different volume or playlist needed for different areas may be good ?? Quiet restaurant and woodburner coffee area ,and perhaps think of variety of demographics throughout the day . Has mystified us on several occasions now so taken the opportunity to feed back today .-Artic monkeys and killers for example while children and families trying to chat xx

    Food as always was lovely. However arriving at 5pm and ordering a cold meat sharing platter we waited until shortly after 6 for it be served. Main meal, a Sunday roast, arrived 2 hours after we arrived at the pub. Whilst appreciating it was Mother’s Day there were plenty of unoccupied tables and at no pint we’re we to,d food would take such a long time. Didn’t like to say we were missing our side dish when it finally came! Manager did come out after we asked for side dish to be taken off the bill to apologise and took 30%off the final bill, much appreciated. Just a little bit of communication and upfront honesty would have been appreciated.

    Warm welcome , prompt service and a friendly environment . Very obliging kitchen though food very average . Better selection on the menu needed as apposed to ‘ pub classics’, such as scampi, chicken in the basket type meals maybe.

    We ate at their sister restaurant the week before (Marlborough Tavern) and this was a slight disappointment. The staff were not great, they were all dressed in casual wear an it was hard to see who were the staff and who were the customers. We ordered our food and when we received it it wasn't as hot as we would have liked, but it was edible, so we didn't say anything. I didn't get my sauce that the dish was supposed to come with. Overall for the price we would rather eat at the Marlborough Tavern.

    We had a seat in the back inside. Table in the middle. It felt awkward. A large table had the table next to us. They pushed by us. Knocking our backs and chairs. They didn't apologise. Good was good. Service in the beginning was quick. But we waited at least 20 mins for dessert. I thought overall. It was expensive for what we had. I did the service charge 10 percent. But begrudgedly. I wouldn't return. Plus hardly any parking
