Terrible food! My wife ordered the honey glazed pork chop. It came uncooked and with heavy syrup. I ordered the seafood risotto. It was cold and got me sick. This was a fraud fir $65.00
Flew in to celebrate Father’s Day.
We have had drinks and dinner twice so far. Perfect ambiance with palm trees swaying, birds chirping, and fantastic drinks. Everything on the menu has been delicious. Don’t hesitate to come here. Service excellent too.
Great views, good food & awesome hotel (La Concha Renaissance)
I booked reservations for 2pm but when I arrived the restaurant was closing. The kitchen closed at 2pm…why then let me book a reservation at that time? It was a huge inconvenience to them find another option for our party size. We won’t be back.
staff seemed overwhelmed. maybe they were understaffed and it was busy. but service was not good. had to keep asking for menu for utensils etc. we had to get up and get our own straws for our drinks. don’t expect a lot just basic service, and they definitely fell short.
The waiters are so friendly! We had breakfast there every morning and it was such a beautiful experience!
My partner and I visited this restaurant for brunch because based on their online menu and information, we were under the impression that they served a brunch buffet complete with mimosas for $50 per person. Upon arrival and being seated, we were given a QR code to scan to look at the menu. The menu had about 5-6 items to pick from and several drink options. I asked our server were they no longer doing the brunch buffet and she said no due to COVID-19. So we find something from the menu to order and place our orders. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and Mac and Cheese and my partner ordered the All American Breakfast. My Huevos Rancheros came out and it looked like someone just threw a burned over medium egg on top of a pile of refried beans. I refer back to the picture of this entree on their IG page to refresh my memory of what it should actually look like and I realize that I don’t have two of the main ingredients on my meal which were avocados and cilantro. I brought this to my servers attention and she said that they probably didn’t have any fresh avocados and that she would bring me some cilantro. My partners food was literally COLD to the touch as if it had just sat in the kitchen for a very long time waiting to be taken out. We asked the server for fresh fries because at that point my partner didn’t even want the bacon and eggs which she LOVES. Our server knew that our experience with the food was mediocre at best and she tried her best to make our experience better. She was very pleasant and nice and went above and beyond for us by having my partners food removed from our tab, without us even asking her to, because she ended up eating none of it. Lastly, I will also say that the description of the atmosphere of the restaurant is misleading as well, as we were hoping to sit on a patio outside while having views of the beach. That wasn’t available either. There was a big chain and lock on the door. Definitely would not return!
The service was excellent and the food too.
Cumplió con mis expectativas.
Terrible food. Extremely overpriced.
Mother’s Day breakfast!
Brunch was great. Bottomless Mimosas were perfect and food was excellent
The views alone are amazing. The food and bottomless drinks were tasty and refreshing. I highly recommend the mango mimosa :)
This was a revival/getaway trip for the family, and I couldn’t have chosen a better location for brunch. From the scenery, to the food, everything was great for my party of five. Lorimar, our waitress, was amazing. The food arrived in a timely manner, and the feeling that we all had since we arrived at the restaurant, was beyond my expectations. I will definitely be dining here again.
It was a disaster. They didn’t honor the reservation, had a complete unorganized agenda, left us waiting with kids for more than 20 mins and were sitting walk ins instead of people with a confirmed reservation. We left and they didn’t even notice. They were admitting people with almost no clothing on, to a sunday BRUNCH and my youngest even got scared from the appearance of some guests, as they were wearing thongs and almost transparent bikini tops.
Food was just ok.
They said I didn’t have a reservation when I did. They sat us and the server didn’t come over for about 15 minutes. We got the unlimited mimosas but service was so slow we only were able to have 3 flutes each....waiting long periods in between refills. The food was pretty bland for the prices they charged. The bubbles and brunch concept is cool but the execution is very poor
Booked a reservation at a specific hour and after we arrived there they made me and my fiancé wait for 15 minutes cause apparently they were “closed” and while waiting 2 more couples arrived and there was no issue attending them quickly and the waitress seemed to have an attitude. Manager was kind enough to attend our issue.
The food was terrible for the valentines brunch. Not worth the money. Service was great however!
The food recommended by our server Carlis was delicious.
The Loft is located within a hotel on the 1st level. It overlooks the pool and beautiful palm trees. I sat outside and they had lively music playing albeit too loud. The reception upon arrival was good. They had one waiter working outside. He recommended a fish dish $35 (special for the evening). It was bland and overcooked. I barely ate half of it. When I mentioned I had not liked it he still presented me with a check for the dish but did not charge me for my wine. So many superior restaurants that were crowded and probably had better food in the same area. I would not recommend this restaurant. Perhaps for a drink NOT food.
The food here was delicious. The waiter was attentive. Since we arrive for dinner, we did not enjoy the beautiful beach front view, but we did enjoy a poolside view.. I ordered the Cornish Hen with the yucafongo. The Yucafongo was delicious! Highly recommend this dish and I also recommend trying the truffle fries. They did not offer a kids menu; however, they were very accommodating and made a special dish for our child which she enjoyed.
Food was amazing, roast pork dish and steak filet dish were great. Carlos our waiter was wonderful. Kitchen was slow but we’re on vacation.
Great meal! Super tasty and the service was friendly. The upstairs patio is charming. We will definitely return next time we visit!
We were there Christmas Eve so had to have the buffet. Food was fine and drinks were great. Service was very friendly.
The Christmas menu was absolutely terrible. Very little selection, poor quality food, old fried things heating under heat lamps, nothing fresh, and extremely expensive. A total rip off
Great food great customer service
Table was in the middle of the floor surrounded by loud partying tables. Service was slow due to the number of people in surrounding tables. View was good but could have been great. We had a table for six so one of our party had to sit on an end. Party of six came in after us and was seated at a window table for eight so they had two empty chairs. Wouldn't it have been better to seat us at the table for eight and the party of six at our table with no one having to sit on the end in the aisle. Food was ok but most of the time we had to wait for someone to come back to the carving station to get served.
They didn’t have my reservation
Excellent view while having a great Brunch with nice personal.
Great Beach Front Brunch and then the beach..
Went to try their brunch with a guest chef. The food is outstanding, and the ingredients were fresh. The buffet had a nice variety of dishes for every palate. Perhaps it was just today, but a table of obnoxious people was making a lot of noise. At the end they were gathered by the entrance, using a lot of foul language and profanity. Not asking for puritans, but their behavior was not appropriate for a 4 star hotel, and no one from the staff intervened. If you are staying at the hotel you will enjoy the quality of the breakfast. We will try it once again since the food is delicious and well presented. Hopefully the experience will be better.
The view is beautiful. Servers were very friendly and sharp. I went for brunch with my wife and my plate was excellent. The plate she ordered could have used a little more seasoning. Otherwise not bad at all.
The service was excellent. And there was very professional good live music. The food very good.
The food was "ok". Was not able to taste the salad as the lettuce was stale/old. Told the staff about it and the response was "let me check with the guys". Nothing happened, nothing was changed. The rest of the food was average but not bad. Took 20 minutes to get a coffee at the empty bar. Staff was nice. The valet parking is $10, not bad (good value). The food itself is too expensive for what is offered. Also, they bring you the check as a total, not detailed. We had to ask for the detailed check and the tip was already included in the check. So we would have double tipped if we didn't ask for the detailed check. I do not plan to return but you can try it out and possibly have better luck.
We chose this restaurant for a Sunday brunch (coincided with 5 de Mayo) while visiting PR. There was a set buffet/price with no option to order from the regular menu, with promised live music, international chefs, etc. While the views overlooking the ocean and hotel were beautiful, it certainly was not worth $50 + tax (close to $67 per person). The ambiance was not very lively, there were probably 4-5 occupied tables including ours. Looking back, there really was really no need to even make a reservation. The DJ stopped playing and started packing up his equipment around 2:45 while the brunch was set to go on until 4:00. The food was nothing particularly out of the ordinary; the only alcoholic drink included in the buffet was a tequila sangria - we each had 4-5 of them and honestly it felt as if the alcohol was watered down. They used to go under the name Delicias (which had great reviews); realizing now that the Loft does not, I would not recommend it as it is overpriced.
