The Lot - Ingatestone
Service could do with improving but the food is good
Our table was booked for 8.15 pm on Saturday. We arrived at 8.25 pm to find previous diners were still seated and had only just ordered desserts. Waitress asked us to have a drink as the wait would only be about 10 minutes! We declined and went to another restaurant. We were able to confirm that those diners were still seated at 9.20pm! Not good enough, the management need to get their booking arrangements sorted before we will consider another visit. We live in the village, we are very disappointed!
The staff looks a little bit insecure room to improve but food absolutly spot on
Delicious food and great staff well worth a visit. Beautiful views too.
A lovely evening celebrating our anniversary. Great food, wine and good service. Will definitely return!
Lovely meal, great ambience and attentive service.
Lovely little place for a brunch with friends, will be back for sure
We went Saturday evening and chose the tapas which was very good. Nice buzzy atmosphere, welcoming staff although some of the younger members were obviously inexperienced but enthusiastic. Overall a good experience for the price range.
I felt I didn’t have a good Experiance here.
I met up with a friend to have dinner and I ordered ribeye steak, asked for it medium well and it turned up really well done, it was chewy and dry. When it was time to pay the card machine was saying ‘unable to connect’ we tried this twice and the lady kept asking me to try another card. This was quite embarrassing as my card was no declining it was clearly the internet connection for the card machine. After 3 times it did go through but I didn’t rate the Experiance very much to be honest.
Very lovely place, most staff are happy to help but some just look moody and not very approachable. Took a while to get served but when the food arrived it was very nice. Will be back again
Loved our evening... food was excellent and service was very friendly, happy and fun. Would thoroughly recommend LOT in Ingatestone.
Lovely new restaurant with a great menu and delicious food. Good kids menu. Nice wine list. Friendly and attentive service
ITs only just opened so a bit of a lack of atmosphere at the moment. I am sure it will improve
Very nice , good food.
Average at best... Food lacked in everything apart from being severely overpriced. Service was okay but needs to be more attentive. In general, the restaurant just lacks appeal. The only highlight was that the drinks were very good.
Excellent food and really good service from friendly and attentive staff. Will definitely go back.
I love the fact there is a Lot around the corner from where I live in Ingatestone! It is a minute walk from my flat. I sometimes go to the one in Shenfield and love it there.
I can definitely recommend a visit.
Went for breakfast brunch, unfortunately had slow service, assumed the staff were mainly new(?) cappuccino’s tasted nice, when they finally arrived, breakfasts were ok, again, when they finally arrived... will try again (in a few months) hopefully they’ll have got their act together by then.
Just right!! Same as Shenfield which is reassuring!
Excellent food, very busy and buzzy. Would highly recommend
Had a lovely time, food was great and staff were very attentive. A much needed addition to Ingatestone.
LOT Ingatestone is an exciting addition to Ingatestone Village. Serving superb food from an extensive breakfast, lunch and dinner menu or just to pop in for a coffee. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. It’s a great place to visit anytime of day to enjoy a little retail therapy whilst wining and dining. Owned and run by a fantastic family.
Overall very good. Bit of a mix up with my food order but dealt with well by staff and didn’t detract from the experience. Would definitely recommend to friends and we will return.
Our new favourite restaurant. Beautiful food, service and decor. Will be seeing a lot of us!
This newly opened venue did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and attentive, décor good and food and service excellent. It seemed to be welcoming to all ages Downside I found the entrance a bit claustrophobic, I wish the two doors were set further apart
