Although the staff were friendly and the place looks lovely, it was very poor value for money. We paid £39 for a Traditional Platter for 2 people and were both expecting to receive a considerably larger platter for this price. The price for a ‘platter for 1’ is £19.50 and in my opinion is what I would have expected to pay for what we received. Very disappointing as it all looked and sounded lovely and we had high hopes, but won’t be returning. We decided to go elsewhere for dessert afterwards!

we chose a Saturday at 2pm and there was only 1 other table booked but that was fine. As a group of 4 we got great service and had some superb food and a lovely bottle of wine. Good selection of food was on offer but you have to save room for the Brownies.....really good. Having tried this once, we will definitely be back. Loved it.

Been twice now and very much enjoyed it. Love the fact you can enjoy a cup of tea or a glass of wine. Boards now come with bread which is much better value. The staff don’t rush you out and make you feel welcome and you are not crammed in unlike B&W in Berko There is something about this place that makes you feel quite relaxed. Look forward to seeing more sweet treats too for afters as they expand

Wasn't made very welcome the lady was expecting us till 2pm. Waited 50 mins for our food then decided to go elsewhere after still nothing. the lady informed us she was busy making up platters for delivery instead of serving us. Would not return.

In the past we have ordered graze boards from Michelle, so I was very excited to try out her newly opened lounge bar. Very happy to see the same high quality ingredients, all locally sourced. Great wine selection and teas/coffee. The lounge has been stylishly decorated with a homely feeling. Really enjoyed our afternoon here and hope to return for an evening soon!

Really lovely welcoming team who talked us through the menu with passion. Quality and quantity of food was excellent and the wine was good value for a premium product It was a shame it was quiet but this was due to the storm that made most people stay at home. But the fab team made sure they made up for this with super service. Can’t wait to visit again

Hi Rachel. Thank you for the feedback. We had only been open a week when you visited, and I agree with it being so busy it wasn't the ambience that I would have liked for The Lounge. We have however since changed the opening times, and emphasised to our customers the we are a Brunch and Tapas wine bar (not a coffee shop). This has allowed us to manage customers a lot easier and allowed for a much more relaxed ambiance more suited to a restaurant.
