Our server was rude and we did not get a choice on the service charge. Food was excellent and the atmosphere was amazing. I will definitely go again just to give it another shot.

Loved the atmosphere, the food and the amazing decor. Perfect venue for a family dinner to celebrate our daughter’s 18th birthday celebration. Definitely will be returning soon.

What a fabulous experience. One of the best bottomless brunches I have ever been to. The entertainment was brilliant. The food was really tasty, the drinks were flowing and the staff very attentive. Would thoroughly recommend this.

Went back to The Luxe for a second time having had a relaxed and friendly welcome on the first occasion. The décor is beautiful and a really lovely place to sit. The food was of a good standard with a comprehensive and well-priced lunch menu. We were very disappointed with only a 'choice' of one gin which seemed very poor for what is supposed to be a high class eating establishment. We also felt that the red wine list was very devoid of reasonably priced bottles with little choice. On our first visit, the manager was warm and friendly as were the staff and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience but on the second visit, we didn't feel as relaxed. Who we assume was the manager, and different to the first visit, made us feel that we were an inconvenience to serve. She was quite off hand and seemed disinterested. Eating in a restaurant should be an all round experience and was our first visit that prompted us to book The Luxe again but next time we meet for lunch, we will look elsewhere.

5 of us had lunch here and it was delicious. Very generous portions and great service. It was my 4th time here and I have not been disappointed.

We enjoyed our time at the Luxe. It’s a curious decor, one room with rotating Neptune statues and another with a Van Gogh starry night theme, but fun for a different experience in a traditional town. The food was perfectly ok, a bit pricey for what it was. We ate early - 630-730, on a Saturday. It was fairly empty when we arrived - a fair number of waitstaff standing around - but was starting to fill up by 730.

Excellent attentive staff, delicious food although sharing starter somewhat minimal. Attention to detail was spot on. Great for a special night out. We will want to visit again.

Our Anniversary lunch, wanted somewhere different, WOW this is it, had a great time and the ambience, especially upstairs is exceptional.

First time visiting, on booking I mentioned it was my daughter’s birthday…she was very pleasantly surprised with a candlelight cake after dinner. Which was very tasty!! The deco is impressive, the seating area was slightly smaller than the expected, but a really nice vibe to the place. Service was very good throughout, however the food did lack flavour and was served very simply, could have done with some freshly baked flat bread and sauces to compliment the kebabs and grill dishes and tbh was fairly expensive in comparison to other places we have eaten similar food. My only niggle were the toilets although nice interior, very dark so impossible to redo your lipstick! On the whole we had a very nice family evening and on leaving we were given complimentary vouchers for Prosecco on our next visit
