Ambience excellent, service excellent, drinks excellent, starters and desserts excellent. Steak was a big let down, very chewy for sirloin and over priced. Having eaten steaks at many top restaurants was disappointed, however would definitely return as other food going out to tables looked delicious.

Lovely food although whenever we needed something (drink etc) we’d have to wait 5/10 minutes before being able to get the attention of waiting staff.
Music a bit loud which in turn meant loud conversations around you.
Poor selection of ales available with only 1 non alcohol and the waiting staff really didn’t know what they had.

Lovely pub, but overpriced mediocre food, starter not cooked properly, steaks poor with only half a tomato to go with it. Disappointing 👎

What a pleasant surprise to find such a fine pub in the hidden corner of Walsall. Inside of pub is spacious and few fire places - so cozy. They have their own wood burn pizza oven - we ordered pizza it was absolutely delicious AND massive!!!! beautiful flavour and fresh from oven. no wonder the place is so popular and need 3 weeks advance booking for weekend. Just great place for bite to eat over a pint. i tried their red wine - the concept is more like young wines from new world - easy medium body fun wine. it was reasonably priced too. Combination of good food and drinks - it can't go wrong. Staff were really helpful - nothing was too much problem for them - what a pleasant pub. I will definitely go back

We had a lovely relaxing meal with outstanding Food. Friendly staff. Our steak was the best we have ever had. Can not fault anything at all. Would highly recommend to everyone and will definitely be returning for another meal

Felt very safe eating there, first time I’d eaten out since Covid 19 started. Would have no qualms about eating there again. Staff very welcoming & complying with all regulations & the food is lovely there.

First time visiting, extremely happy with the service and food ordered. Will defiantly be booking again.

Food was nice if not slightly over priced. Service excellent. Please be more clear when seating as we were asked to move from our chosen table as it was already "booked". Didn't see that as an option when I booked my birthday meal. We stayed 2hrs and no one came to the vacant table. The one in the window is not really suitable first six adults and the chairs are too low.
