Food was great, service was even better!
Loud! The rest was good!
Bella the waitress was amazing!!
Cute restaurant, food was good a little salty and tasted like it had been frozen . Staff was good. Best Bloody Mary I’ve had in years.
Really great food and customer service and atmosphere. Will definitely come back! for all food types / diets etc.
Was looking forward to checking this location out, completely under whelmed. Decor was to simple and food was basic.
Wonderful food, service and overall fun atmosphere. If your love meatballs with a new fancy new twist this is your place. Our server Ryan was very attentive and made us feel like family from the moment we walked in. So many delicious options hard to choose the best but would highly recommend the giant meatball trio stuffed with spaghetti noodles each with its own sauce and the crab cake meatball appetizer. Sangria is light and refreshing as well. Our teenagers also loved this place with enough tasty options to please the whole family.
Food was good and there were great happy hour specials. We were one of only a few patrons at the restaurant which led to an abundance of staff attention. Better than the alternative, but we were interrupted by various wait staff every couple of minutes for our entire meal.
Absolutely, I've already shared it on social media and told plenty of my friends about it. The food was stupendous and the music was great. Can't wait to go again.
Awesome change of pace! Delicious meatballs.. excellent service! Sides were as good as the main course.
The food was good, but unfortunately the restaurant seems to have strict rules on any deviation from the menu. It’s difficult for the servers to tell customers that and also frustrating for the customer. Would suggest for takeout but the dining experience was subpar because of restaurant rules.
The food and service was excellent! I highly recommend the lamb meatballs and anything with the Parmesan cream sauce. The cocktails were great too!
Brought my brother, 6 yo niece and sister-in-law here for dinner. Great food, friendly attentive service. Two thumbs up!
Our waitress was wonderful!
Poor service, really terrible staff, one waiter so poorly dressed you could see her private parts through her T-shirt
Love the menu- love meatballs. The whole “ballers” thing is a bit much- it’s said too much and it’s a bit uncomfortable. It’s a casual restaurant and I get that but it takes away from how good the food is.
Amazing food, amazing staff, super loud dining experience in terms of volume.
Great place for a birthday dinner with a group of friends
I love the food, my Family and I went over there last May 12 and still remember, it felts like homemade quality food, not too spicy no overpowered, and the service? even better !!! we want to come back.
A little suggestion? a few pieces of "warm garlic bread"
I highly recommended this pace.
Highly disappointed. Server was polite but not cooperative; took more than 10 minutes to receive an iced tea plus another 5 minutes for a black coffee, despite being one of only three tables with people when the restaurant opened (1100). One of us asked for a substitution, and we were told make no substitutions; so we asked for a different dish with sauce on the side, and we were told she could not even have the sauce on the side! That is not helpful. The server said the reason the sauce could not be on the side is because there was “essentially only one cook.” The cookies in the ice cream sandwich dessert were at least a day old, as they tasted stale and were so dry. Overall, I will not recommend this location to anyone and eat in NYC rather than down the street from my own home in DC.
Food was delicious!
Server was great but the price for 4 meatballs was DC prices.
The food at the Meatball Shop was good. I’d give the overall experience a great, but every item that was brought to our table was not what we ordered. The staff was delightful, and I’m going to chalk the issue up to the noise level in the restaurant, but the drink I ordered was off, the meatballs delivered were the wrong meat (ordered classic with spicy meat sauce and received chicken with regular sauce and meat sauce on our pork balls, ice cream sandwich for dessert came served on the wrong cookies and we didn’t receive the focaccia that was supposedly served with the meatballs). We didn’t complain because we nonetheless enjoyed the meal. I just will be mindful of this if I’m to return in the future.
I’ve been here twice now and love the ambiance and music - makes for a great trendy atmosphere! I will definitely take friends here however the service is okay. Our food took awhile to arrive and our waitress hardly stopped by our table, only to take our order and to bring our check which was prompted by another server who noticed our table had been cleared for awhile post meal. But the Moscow mule is my favorite cocktail, the mozzarella balls, crab and lobster balls are delish, will still go back.
The food was hard to swallow. Lacked flavor, meatballs weren't seasoned and the sauces were not pleasing to our palates. We spent $200 for 5 people, 2 people of the 5 only had a sandwich. I would not recommend this place at all. The concept is cute, but the reality is lacking of everything a great dining experience should have. The best part was the service, the staff was great, professional and very friendly.
Great restaurant but too loud
Food is OK, but overpriced. Creative plates with all sorts of meatball-based dishes. Not dying to go back.
