Delicious food, meticulously thought-out menu with the best ingredients. Lovely outdoor tables next to the water. With a glass of chilled Greek white wine (not Retsina) I could almost imagine I was by the Mediterranean. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very impressed!

Me & my friend tried pretty much all the small plates + oysters - Kumamoto ones were easily for size & sweeter flavour - with a glass of English or Etna (volcanic) white wines! The dishes were presented perfectly & explained (helpful) and our waiting team made sure items came out over time so we had space to put things down. The dishes obviously tasted great from perfectly cooked scallops & aubergine to the burrata & preserved lemon peel to the taramasalata & charred fennel.
I guess it's a seasonal thing but the courgettes in many dishes were a welcome texture too. Most dishes seemed light except their amazing signature seafood "carbonara" which as a pasta, is more like a main course!

I look forward to trying the lunch menu vs evening and on different days given they change menus daily!

On a clear evening, do look at the reflections in the marina - Instagram material!
It's only slightly disappointing no seating is allowed outside after 10pm but they want to be good neighbours............

Such a treat to be able to eat out again, and the Melusine was the perfect place to do so. Very relaxed atmosphere, and able to book table outside. Staff are very friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. We ate langoustines (so fresh), smoked beef and grilled mackerel with fava (delicious and unusual combination), and grilled John Dory with lentils - delicious. We also had blue cheese ice cream, which was a first, and absolutely delicious. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Excellent fish menu simply but perfectly cooked. We had succulent oysters, taramasala as it should be, white and creamy, delicious scallops and then a perfectly cooked large plaice to share. No room left for dessert! With everyone still shielding from Covid 19 the restaurant was only about half full which made for a good ambience too. Menu was short, apparently changes daily according to what they can get. Will definitely return.

Wonderful creative seafood. Relaxed and fun. Half price wine on wine Wednesdays, from a creative list.

Great cooking. Cute place. Good for a nice day during social distancing: at the moment it has outside seating along the dock.

Having been in isolation for 90 days we were really looking forward to a meal in a restaurant environment. As soon as restaurants made bookings available I grabbed a spot to celebrate our 40th anniversary at The Melusine. We were not disappointed, The Melusine delivered on delicious fish made to perfection. Would we go again? Absolutely!!! Matched with an amazing location in St Katherine Docks, you can’t want anything more...
Unless you enjoy gin, The Melusine has an amazing menu of exotic gins, we only tried 2, it was lunch after all.

Lastly, the service was incredible, everything thought out to made us feel safe dinning our in these uncertain times with Covid. The business sized cards which take you straight into the menu with your phone in camera mode was genius! No physical menus to touch, certainly the way forward. Thank you for a lovely anniversary lunch, we will see you again The Melusine.

Great comfort seafood with a modern twist and great execution. Very happy about all of the dishes but perhaps the ceviche was a bit bland and needed more of a punch. Original, though pricey, wine list and simple but great menu. Very nice service.
I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu as soon as I can! We all can.

Outstanding food and service with lovely views over the dock. It isn’t on the menu but ask if they have any of the homemade lemoncello left.

What a fantastic place, excellent food and service. Can't wait for the summer to sit on the terrace and enjoy a long afternoon lunch. I'll be back before then though as it's simply excellent.
