0 stars were left becuse they let me book a table. Confirmed booking, drove from Sunderland to turn up to find the place totally closed.

Fantastic food with fantastic staff. Not my first visit and will certainly not be the last

Love this place very busy night before lockdown but service food etc still first class.. Great system in place with staff each having their own role.
Love the slightly older lady (just a bit older than the girls and boys who work there 😉) she makes the place.. Her energy and personality are just what you want when you go for a meal.. Friendly but not over the top, helpful cheery etc just great.. See you back there in December 🙂👍🙏

Love everything about it. The food is always high quality and perfect. The staff are all young and extremely experienced, helpful, polite and professional. They accommodated my special needs by providing me with a soft seat near the disabled toilets. Also very dog friendly place 😃

Lovely food and service would definitely return when lockdown lifts

We went as a family and have eaten there before and enjoyed it. However on Tuesday we were presented with an extensive list of what was not available on the menu, this included fries and red wine! This was disappointing, then the service was incredibly slow. We were sat in the conservatory which was chilly and members of my party needed to wear their coats. Very disappointed with this visit.

Always enjoy meals here. Lovely food, friendly staff( but not in your face). Price is good.
Wasn't sure about social distancing tho . Felt very close to the next tablr

Consistently superb food and service. The fillet steak is my go-to dish, and once again it was cooked to perfection..5 stars.

Excellent service. Sunday dinner very nice but not outstanding. Average nut roast. Ran out of cauliflower cheese unfortunately which we were looking forward to.

Staff did an amazing job, despite difficult circumstances.

Food was absolutely amazing, and we will definitely be back when it's safe to do so.

We took our mam in law for a treat and enjoyed a very tasty Sunday lunch. The Beef and Pork lovely and tender, great Yorkies and the vegetables cooked
To perfection, topped off with a tasty gravy.
The fish and chips were also enjoyed by my hubby .
We were tempted with the desserts and not disappointed, Banofee cheesecake and the Mango Sundae excellent. The staff lovely and friendly and the seating comfortable.
Excellent thanks again we would love to return with our dogs next time 😀😀😀

Been a couple of times now really enjoy the sunday dinner. Would highly recommend. The welcome on arrival was very warm and friendly.

Outstanding Sunday Lunch as per usual, staff polite and welcoming, looking forward to returning soon.

What amazing food and staff were so very nice ! Would strongly recommend this place.

Sadly we never ate her in the end as neither the bar person nor the server had masks or visors on and when challenged they said they were exempt. They were scuttling around rushed off their feet it seemed and the tables were note very far apart. All in all we didn't want to risk catching covid 19 so advised we were leaving.

Could not fault the food or the ambience of the setting, very relaxed ., however we did find the service a little slow and had to seek staff out at times to ask for more drinks and sweets. we also had at least two if not three members of staff walk past our table without removing the finished meal plates?

Lovely Sunday roast. Meat melted in mouth and homemade Yorkshire puddings.

Had a lovely meal the weekend before, but unfortunately this weekend it fell short. All the veggies with the sunday roast incl a side of cauliflower cheese tasted sweet.
Ordered two double vodkas & lemonade, busy chatting when they were delivered, didn't realise they were virtually two half pints, drowning the vodka. Told the server when paying who said"you should have said we would have changed it" there was a full one left, but no offer to knock it off the bill. Shame really thought we had found a nice place.

Another booking for Sunday Lunch and again the food was first class. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and very attentive. Covid measures were in place and managed very well with dedicated entry exit routes. Thank you.

I find it so easy to book a table through the app now. Hadn’t been to the Mill House for a while but have been about 3 times in the last month. The food is as good as it ever was and really enjoy it, even with the COVID procedures in place. The staff are really friendly and helpful. We all really look forward to going now

First time we have been since reopening and was very impressed. Decor lovely and clean,
noticed tables were cleared and cleaned as soon as they were vacated.

Lots of space to allow social distancing.

We shared the baked Camembert for a starter, followed by pate, both were delicious. Main course was fish and chips, batter lovely and crispy, fish tasty and beautiful home made chips.
Great service and lovely friendly staff.

Service in here was exceptional, staff couldn’t do enough for you. Will definitely be back just for that alone.

There’s a nice menu on offer, the food was tasty and portions are generous. The service is good, the staff are friendly.

Sunday lunch was amazing, veg and meat all cooked to perfection, I will definitely be returning.
