Set in a charming old building built in 1795, The Mill Restaurant in Stone, Staffordshire, combines its rustic heritage with sophisticated design and a contemporary Mediterranean menu. Surrounded by stunning grounds, the restaurant boasts an elegant interior and is a popular venue for weddings, birthdays and private dinner parties. The Mill's lounge bar - with soft, deep-red leather sofas - is a chic place for pre-post dinner cocktails, and the dining room has a discreet and romantic atmosphere. The menu is filled with classic dishes including the oven-baked lasagne served with garlic bread; whole seabass baked with tomatoes, red onions and olives; and chicken liver pate with red onion marmalade. The Mill Restaurant also famous for its traditional puddings.

Staff were absolutely lovely and so friendly, everywhere was clean and tidy. My only criticism is that the beef main off the Christmas menu was quite tough. Overall a lovely establishment and would definitely revisit.

Food was very good. Would of been nice for the waiter to of mentioned to us that the paella portion would of served all 4 of us. That said service was excellent, would definitely recommend to friends and family.
