The Millers Bar
We would say it is one of Yorkshire’s rising stars after seeing £300,000 of investment since opening in 2014. The canal-side pub offers amazing food from homemade pizza to mouth-watering pie along with around 15 specialist ales, world lagers, extensive wine list and imported coffee. It’s also the only pub in the UK with ROKTFACE on its doorstep been the highest man-made outdoor climbing wall in the UK.
- Surfaces sanitised between seatings
- Common areas deep cleaned daily
- Digital, disposable or sanitised menu provided
- Sanitiser or wipes provided for customers
- Contactless payment available

- Distancing maintained in common areas

Brilliant. Again. It always and the staff make it so.
Good beer and food. Staff as friendly as ever.
Would highly recommend and the best Yorkshire puddings Iv ever had and service and staff were excellent *
There are no heaters on the majority of the outside tables, but the big umbrellas help.
Considering current situation the menu was quite expansive. Very was good as was the service. Decent value although I have had better value for money.
Lovely afternoon as always. Food was yummy and staff were very attentive, even when we were sat outside.
Nice atmosphere and service. Sat outside under shelter.
Staff friendly and the service was outstanding would recommend
We use this a bar a lot and I can honestly say that we have never had a bad visit. Good choice of beer and food all reasonably priced, but the best feature is, without a doubt, the service and the staff.
Delicious food, as normal. Staff are really friendly and it was nice and warm inside.
Only slight criticism would be the cask beer choice, 3 of the beers were pretty similar in style (light pale ales). A bit more variety would be nice.
Staff couldn't have been more accommodating, food was amazing and everything really reasonably priced - definately a venue worthy of custom and public support during these hard times, please go check them out you won't be disappointed!
Back to Millers Bar again, we went on their first Tuesday opening so it was understandably quiet which suited us.
There was a decent choice of real ales given current circumstances including one dark beer which is excellent for me.
I had the falafel wrap, subbing the normal fries for chunky chips and very enjoyable it was too.
My wife had the posh fish finger sandwich which she also enjoyed, we also shared a side of onion rings which we couldn't fault.
Great night food fantastic and the staff efficient and friendly . Defiantly be going again .,
Excellent as usual but first time upstairs, thought it was lovely! Well done Millers!
The millers bar is a great place to go for any occasion, whether it’s a quiet drink or a meal. The food is always superb and I couldn’t ask for a better local!
Good pub menu, nicely presented, great taste and value.
It’s nice when pubs sets Covid 19 systems in place so effectively.
Staff are very good at ensuring you have a great time. 5 star Millers
Very well organised from start to finish. Service was very good and the food amazing. Couldnt fault anything, we will be back sgain soon.
Cracking Sunday dinner big home made Yorkshire Pudding, succulent tender belly pork, mash, potato roasties and fresh seasonal vegetables with lashings of gravy! Delicious!
enjoy the setting and ambience. service excellent. Very safe and well organised.
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening On Saturday.
Thank you Hannah and Staff for the welcoming and Safe environment we had.
Food once again was just so tasty and the choice in the bar area is perfect.
Thank you again.
This was the first time we had been out since covid lock down. We really enjoyed it. Food was great. Although busy didn't seen too crowded. Good covid precautions in place.
Good covid experience with prompt polite service. Great food and cracking ales
We use it now as a place to eat, as the food is delicious, the staff are excellent , and most importantly, we feel Covid is treated seriously and all measures used to protect their clients, well done Millers
We’re really lucky to have this great pub close by. The staff are so friendly, that’s what keeps us coming back.
Had Sunday dinner in the Millers which is always nice. Staff are friendly food is usually v good. Only criticism is sometime the cut of beef isn’t always the best, which otherwise let’s down a lovely Sunday dinner. I’m a fan of Erdinger on draft which helps wash it down. Overall good, though notice the price has crept up, but suppose inevitable under the current climate.
Food was good but service was slow despite it not being that busy. Also noticed that a member of staff collected our used glasses by picking them up with fingers inside the glasses, then went on to carry on working and touching other things without washing his hands. Hard for us to prevent covid spreading when staff aren't being careful
Absolutely outstanding. Gorgeous food, great service I would highly recommend visiting here
Excellent food, drink at a great price. service & Covid 19 set up was very impressive & safe.
It was a great meal out, amidst the current covid situation it was far and away the best place we had been, as even though the correct covid safety was in place, they had maintained a sense of normality, and a great atmosphere that is lacking in other places.. will definately be back again soon.
Really lovely food, and the staff and atmosphere were very COVID safe. We felt very comfortable there. Would definitely visit again!
Very well organised and ran, felt very Covid secure without being intimidating. Staff friendly and attentive, food was lovely.
Lovely place to eat and spend time with family or a (limited number) friends
Really enjoyed we haven't sat in the upstairs bar before. We thought it was really stylish.,comfy and a good feel. The music was a little too loud for us when trying to have a conversation but we were sat near to a speaker. Staff were excellent. Definitely will go back
We had a 'problem' as soon as we got there, we had been booked into a 'non dog' area. Thankfully after a while we were sorted. There is nowhere in the booking system to include a dog. The food and drink more than made up for the mix up.
Delicious food (Yorkshire portions) good GF options. Friendly attentive staff who were happy to help and dog friendly. Millie loved her bowl of chicken.
Good food as always cannot cook it at home for that price and much more enjoyable because I didn't have to cook it
We had to wait outside for approx 15 in the cold to queue to get in even though we had a table booked. We were walked round the back of the building to get to a table a couple of yards from where we were stood which we didn't mind but then the party next to us just walked straight to their table. The fish pie was nice but mostly mashed potato and not worth the £15, charged especially when it was just serves with peas. Staff were very friendly & quite helpful but obviously rushed off their feet dealing with all the customer drinking outside.
The service was very good and staff friendly. Food also good. We also felt safe in how it is set up due to the coronavirus.
Love it here! Amazing sized portion, great value for money. My only small criticism is that the batter on my fish was a bit greasy. May make me think twice about ordering it again but wouldn't stop me returning
