Open to holiday makers, wedding guests and locals, the Murray Arms Hotel in Gatehouse of Fleet is an extension of Laggan, offering bed and breakfast, grazing boards between 1.00pm - 4.30pm and our supper menu from 5pm - 8.30pm.

We have undergone an extensive refurbishment, winning Hotel of the Year in 2023 for Best Design. Our new spaces include our bar area which is dog friendly and our new restaurant.

The best food, service and ambiance as ever, it’s my favourite place for relaxed, delicious dining with the most beautiful decor. Can’t wait to come back, thanks to all the staff for making it such a great experience.

The Murray Arms was a delightful place to eat. The decor and atmosphere are outstanding. The menu was very good and our choices of chicken and fish were excellent. The sticky toffee pudding was delicious and the jug of sauce was wonderful. The staff were so friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Our first visit but certainly will not be the last.

Lived in the village for 2 years now and it was our first time in the Murray Arms for at least 18 years. It was great, they have made a lovely job of the place. Thanks Laggan. John & Julie Campbell Flynn

Really enjoyable experience in a hotel that feels like it’s really finding its feet. Good drinks, nice food and pleasant service. Poppy behind the bar is particularly excellent.

What a fabulous job has been done of bringing the Murray Arms back to life! The food was delicious, the staff excellent and the decor and ambiance superb.
