All staff are very professional. We did have a great time.
I have been twice to the Northall. There is a good vegetarian menu (with vegan options). Quite a formal setting but The service is relaxed and welcoming. Food is good, if last timea bit on the salty side. Delicious chocolates served after the meal on the house - we had to ask the waiter to give us another round they were so good.
The pre theatre dinner is great value and very good food. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The cheese presentation was a tutorial on cheese!!!! Wonderful Only complaint is that service could have been a bit more brisk as we were headed to theatre and had informed the waiter we needed to be away at a certain time. Will certainly return.
I took a friend here for a birthday lunch. Everything about the experience was amazing from how they responded to my booking email to how the sommelier didn’t even flinch when my friend told him that she puts port into Guiness!
The food was excellent, the service attentive, friendly and knowledgable (and witty!) and the harp player was brilliant. The general ambience/comfort made this a lunch to remember. Can’t recommend it highly enough!
Beautiful restaurant fabulous food and excellent knowledgable staff who were only to happy to advise/help and with a smile on their faces. Thoroughly enjoyed celebrating my 50th and my sisters 40th birthday. Wasn't the first time we have been here and we will return once again. Value for money as well. Thank you
Brilliant service, delicious food and a wonderful evening all round
As usual, North Hall always delivers! In this occasion the only reason I rated the food 4 stars is because my guests and I found the lobster bisque a bit over seasoned. But that’s not going to sop us from going back again.
I can’t stress enough how amazing is the service. The waiting staff are very friendly and informative, my guests had a very good time.
5* service, very attentive and informative staff.
Pre theatre 3 course dinner with champagne was delicious and amazing price.
We will be back :-D
We have been to the Northall many times and it never fails to impress. The staff are real gems and even the 'newbies' reflect the high standard of their in-house training. They appear to be encouraged to engage with those customers who enjoy repartee whilst not intruding on those preferring to be left alone.
This time we tried some unusual fish dishes which were on offer and couldn't fault them. It is a pleasure to eat a meal where just about everything is sourced with great skill from within the UK. Everything. that is, except the extensive high quality wine list. We ended our meal with a new find - the rare Vin de Glace Blanc de Morgex et de la Salle dessert wine from northern Italy which was a treat.
We'll be back next time we are in London.
Lovely staff, had a great meal
Great food and great staff
Food was great staff excellent, really enjoyed ourselves and looking forward to our next visit.
Amazing! Four of us came as part of a celebration evening for a relatives 90th. We had been to a matinee at the theatre opposite and we had the set menu. The food was delicious. All the staff were fabulous. We were not rushed and we had the right amount of service at the table. Sadly we didn’t see any name tags on the waiting staff and although all deserve a mention, the ‘Cheese Man’ as he described himself and also the person I think was the manager, deserve special mention. Well done to the chef and to all the staff. I’m trying to think of excuses to go back!
My second visit and will not be my last! Service, as well as the quality of the food, was excellent.
Second time we have been here and it is perfect. We had the set menu which was really good value, the staff were attentive without being intrusive. The ambiance was just right, quiet without being too quiet gentle background music. The staff were all so professional.and helpful. A lovely place fir a special occasions. We will definitely return
It was quiet for a Saturday night so atmosphere a little lacking but it meant the service was attentive.
Best food and best value for the money of all the restaurants we ate at on a week’s trip to London. And that included a Michelin two star restaurant and three one-stars. This restaurant deserves at least one star.
A lovely restaurant for our last meal in London before leaving for home the next morning. So very British—from the perfectly executed asparagus on coddled eggs, the beautiful presentation of hake with a memorable sauce to the cheese trolly at meal’s end—we loved every minute.
A great meal which was made better by then being flexible over choices due to dietary requirements. The pre-theatre meal was great with a glass of Laurent Perrier. Trout for starter was brilliant, and pork belly or sea bream were great. Would recommend to anyone for the pre-theatre menu or just a great fine dining experience.
Excellent location, with the expected level of elegance expected for a top end London hotel. Most staff were as expected, but balance between privacy and left waiting, did err on the left waiting at times unfortunately.
Overall though, thoroughly enjoyable elegant experience
The Northall is such a great place to go and spend a few "chill out" hours. The 3 course lunch with a glass of Bubbly is fantastic value for money. The quality of food, location, ambiance and service levels are awesome and the hotel have priced the lunch so that everyone can experience something which is very special. The staff and service levels are quite simply second to none.
You might want to watch your spend on drinks though (a bit pricy) and my drinks bill is always double that of the meal itself! But it's got to be done though, if you're there. Go on, spoil yourself!
Note: Harpist Kevin Lee is simply BRILLIANT. Go there when he is playing.
Fabulously delicious food, and were were pleasantly surprised when the bill came. The theater menu is fabulous. Service was also amazing.
Incredibly attentive staff that were genuinely friendly and made you feel incredibly welcome. Set menu was brilliant value for money.
There were a lot of mix-Ups that evening: steamed spinach instead of creamed, the wrong dessert and a starter nut no cutlery.
It didn’t feel as a relaxing evening out. 5 minutes after I got my G&T my starter was served. SobI had to drink my G&T during the whole meal instead of some wine.
The starter and the dessert were delicious. The turbot was to lemony. The taste of the yuzu was too dominant for the delicate fish. The fish was cooked to perfection.
To top everything the salted butter was off and tasted sour.
I found it a very expensive evening that lasted only about 1h15m. I felt rushed!!
I had high expectations after my last visit with you, bit I was disappointed.
This was my second visit and it was every bit as good as the first. Great food and service in gorgeous surroundings. I look forward to next time.
Everything was excellent! Staff went above n beyond for our graduation celebration! Thoroughly enjoyed it. This is our regular haunt whenever we’re in London.
Chef Andre Garrett ‘s food tastes as good as it looks, which is stunning. The set lunch represents amazing value for money.
Very good food at a restaurant with high standards.
I love the Northall the staff are so friendly & very helpful. The food is very fresh & has obviously had a lot of care taken so that the food arrives at the table looking to good to eat. This time we ate from the set menu the choices of starter main course & dessert was excellent & suitable for many people. I can’t wait for the next time we visit.
Good experience although was super busy and hard to get staff attention unlike previous occasions
Excellent. I enjoyed everything, the service, the food and the ambiance.
For our two week trip to London, we dined at two restaurants per day, one breakfast/lunch and one dinner, for a total of 20+ restaurants. Northall was the clear winner (loser?) as being the worst value for late breakfast/brunch. Everything was marginal. Sluggish, apathetic service. Multiple mistakes with orders, drinks, etc. Undeservedly snobbish attitude. Even our bill was wrongly charged to someones room at the hotel. The food was beyond boring and ordinary. My eggs Benedict was as plain as can be. Nothing like the beautifully adorned examples shown in online photos. All would be forgiven if the price was reasonable, but it was beyond outrageous. £42 per person-- TOTAL ripoff.
We enjoyed a fabulous Sunday jazz brunch to celebrate our son's graduation at the very stylish Northall.
We were very well looked after and our son, in particular, was most impressed by the whole ambience and attention to detail. We all enjoyed the choice of menu. The jazz music in particular was great.
We look forward to returning on another occasion.
Thank you for a lovely lunch at the Northall Restaurant on Sunday 16th. We all enjoyed the food, ambience and the jazz duet playing in the background. It was a special meal for us and I’m pleased we chose to have it at the Corinthia.
We had a fantastic dinner to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday before going to the theatre. Very good food, friendly service, lovely atmosphere. We waited a bit between our starters and main course which meant we were a bit tight for time to get to the theatre but we made it.
They even prepared a free ‘happy birthday’ pudding which was a really lovely addition.
Lovely, pleasant experience. Extremely polite staff and the food was fantastic. Well catered for vegetarians. Will be visiting back for our 25th anniversary,
We had the pre-theater and post-theater set menu, which is really excellent. The ingredients were presenting the best of the season, well crafted and delicately executed. Food was served at the right temperature, with just right portion and elegantly presented. Despite it being a set menu, service was right on-pointe and we were made to feel very welcomed and importantly hosted. The team who served us were friendly, attentive and well-polished. It was a very pleasant and posh experience.
Thoroughly enjoyed our late anniversary dinner just arrived from a very long flight .Asparagus soup was so warm and delicious , lamb was cooked to perfection , chocolate dessert heavenly . Thanks Northall team.
Staff were all very friendly. When our starter arrived there wasn’t any cutlery on the table so had to ask. The place was very clean and tidy and very impressed watching the staff lay the table cloths with precision. Music could have been louder as we could hear the table next to ours conversation so would be better if more privacy. Decor all lovely. Food well presented and extremely tasty. Toilet facilities very clean. Had to wait quite a long time for someone to take our payment and wasn’t busy at the time.
