A fabulous venue for our annual small gathering to catch up at Christmas. Staff very attentive and as it was our seventh visit we had a ‘welcome back’ which was much appreciated.
Fantastic meal, great staff. Had a wonderful evening.
Fantastic Sunday lunch. Lovely restaurant and not too noisy.
Very nice food with great staff
We had Sunday lunch and the food was excellent, staff really friendly and couldn’t do enough to assist. The restaurant had a lovely ambience. Booked to go back already.
Amazing. Our night here was amazing. The food is delicious, the staff is just so friendly and professional! We are definitely coming back soon!
Fantastic birthday lunch for my friend, they made such an effort to make it a special lunch for her. Beautiful interiors, delicious food and fantastic friendly service. Will be going back.
We had to try and get attention on a no of occasions to get wine ordered - first time this has happened so probably due to them being busy
High level of skill with excellent results. However I felt menu choice was rather limited unless you went for the options for 3 diners. Wine list and other drinks eye-watering my expensive as you would expect in a luxury hotel
Fabulous food, attentive service and good value.
Very good service and food, in a really pleasant environment. Andre Garrett (ex-Cliveden) and his team do a great job in the kitchen, as do Daniele, James and their friendly, front of house team. The 'fixed price', pre-theatre menu provided a good choice but we were rather surprised by the near 50% price increase (to £47) for 3 courses & glass of champagne for the 'festive season' version, which is not reflected on the restaurant/hotel website. At the 'normal' price of £32, the menu offers exceptionally good value for theatre goers and early diners!
Great food but disappointed that the set lunch menu advertised on their website wasn't available. It was instead replaced by a festive lunch menu, which was around £15 more expensive and wasn't as nice —a full Turkey roast is quite heavy for a casual lunch in mid November!
We went for the set menu. The smoked trout for started was very tasty, the beef cheek was great and the chocolate dessert devine. Friendly arrhythmia was an added bonus.
Excellent pre-theatre menu with glass of champagne. Excellent service - there were no other diners for most of the time! Ambience in the hotel dining room was a bit lacking early evening. Good vibe in the hotel bar and so pretty with Christmas glitz.
Wonderful service from lovely staff. Good attention to detail and made to feel very welcome. Food served in abundance. Only downside was no doggy bag available which was a little disappointing as hate to waste food.
My guests absolutely loved it. Amazing experience and 1st class service. 5Stars!
Pre-theatre dinner and cocktails, excellent food, service, decor and flower arrangements. What a treat!
6 of us went for a pre theatre dinner. Was excellent value and wonderful food. Portion size is just right and the staff are all excellent and very well trained. Liked very much that we were not made to feel we were on a deal as sometimes happens with hotels. Great location opposite the playhouse theatre and would definitely return. Thank you.
Great service, good wine, perfect food
Great food and wonderful service
It’s my first time at the Northall.
The food was exceptional and the service staff are all super friendly and helpful.
Definitely on the top of my London list.
We had a fantastic time in the most beautiful surroundings waited on by some of the most attentive pleasant staff I have come across at high end hotels. The only slight criticism was that the main course could have been a little hotter. Lovely time.p
Everything was excellent. Service was impeccable, food was delicious, decor was beautiful. They made a special dish for our kids and they loved it. We had a great evening.
This was an absolutely delightful place. I took my girlfriend here for her birthday. The friendliness of the staff and classiness of the restaurant was at the highest. I can truly recommend this place as the Treat of the Year 2019. Thank you very much and we shall visit you soon. Best Regards, Dominik
The best experience in nine days in London!
Food was amazing, and the service impeccable.
Even the bill was surprisingly reasonable.
We went back the next day!
Lovely meal, some staff a bit off their game.
Superb surroundings; welcoming staff; ideal seating arrangements allowing comfortable conversation. Food on point, particularly the fish.
No notable negatives - will happily return
Thank you to the Corinthia for outstanding service!
The Northall is sublime, food and service was absolutely spot on and the ambience laid way for a very relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. I will return.
Loved the atmosphere.!!!! We are there for Sunday brunch with the three course menu. The harpist was excellent. And the dinning room and hotel were stunningly beautiful with just the right mix of contemporary and classic decor. We especially loved the cheese course. Rule Britainnia!
We attended over the weekend for my husband birthday with my two sons and had a wonderful evening.
Service - professional, discrete and charming
Food - perfect ! Delicious, decent portion sizes and well presented and delicious
Setting : very comfortable, spacious, sophisticated and so close to the embankment and playhouse theatre for a very special evening.
This restaurant definitely deserves a Michelin star. I have eaten here a half a dozen times. Every single course has been excellent. Original, unexpected combinations, bursting with flavor. The pre-theater set Menu might well be the best are you in London.
We loved the both grand and welcoming feel of the Northall. We visited for Mums birthday and were treated to incredible food and service.
The raw menu to start was interesting and I had Oysters to start, fresh and delicious. For main the four of us shared two dishes accompanied by many sides; the John Dory - which the chef kindly portioned in the kitchen and the Cote de Boeuf which everyone loved. We finished with dessert and cheeses. A special occasion utterly enjoyable and unapologetically indulgent.
A lovely restaurant and ambience. Wonderful service by informative staff and we were made to feel very welcome. The food was delicious and very well presented. All in all, a really good experience and we enjoyed it very much.
We were delighted with the dining room atmosphere, quality of food and amazing wait staff.
Pretentious, overpriced and overcooked!
A chef that can reduce a Dover Sole (the queen of fish) to a rubbery, overcooked rectangle of rubber that may have seen an ocean at some time in its history is not to be recommended.
The rest of the food was OK but not exceptional. Certainly not worth the price tag.
All staff are very professional. We did have a great time.
I have been twice to the Northall. There is a good vegetarian menu (with vegan options). Quite a formal setting but The service is relaxed and welcoming. Food is good, if last timea bit on the salty side. Delicious chocolates served after the meal on the house - we had to ask the waiter to give us another round they were so good.
The pre theatre dinner is great value and very good food. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The cheese presentation was a tutorial on cheese!!!! Wonderful Only complaint is that service could have been a bit more brisk as we were headed to theatre and had informed the waiter we needed to be away at a certain time. Will certainly return.
The food was absolutely wonderful, great flavours with a varied menu. The service was good but table service requires more polish to match the standard of the food.
I took a friend here for a birthday lunch. Everything about the experience was amazing from how they responded to my booking email to how the sommelier didn’t even flinch when my friend told him that she puts port into Guiness!
The food was excellent, the service attentive, friendly and knowledgable (and witty!) and the harp player was brilliant. The general ambience/comfort made this a lunch to remember. Can’t recommend it highly enough!
