    Had a lovely family lunch at the Old Stone House restaurant. There were 10 of us. There was great variety on the menu and good children’s options as well as vegetarian and coeliac options. We all really enjoyed it. The floor staff were very friendly and attentive.

    Service was first class, Food was delicious. Excellent choice on the menu to suit everyone, huge choice for those with dietary requirements.

    Overall it was an enjoyable experience. The decor and the ambiance was lovely. There was a nice choice of starters, however they were a little on the small size for the price. Particularly the spring rolls, two small pieces. The mains were very nice and reasonable portion size. Very fresh, crisp ingredients and beautiful flavours coming through. The Asian style Sea-bass was particularly delicious , and the pork ribs too. We were sitting in an alcove which was unfortunately very tight fitting, the chairs couldn’t be pulled back from the table and the table leg was uncomfortably positioned. This was the only negative. The staff were very friendly and efficient.

    Beautiful place to eat, food was fantastic, service perfectly timed between courses and the little touches for a special oocasion spot on. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

    Once again absolutely fabulous 🤩 The staff are always so happy, helpful and extremely well manned. The food was a treat for the taste buds, to use the word "delicious"would be an understatement. Can't wait for the next occasion to come.

    Absolutely Fantastic as always. We all love the Old Stonehouse. We are always so well looked after when celebrating our occasions. The service and attention detail from Mags and the Team is expectional. The Food, Drinks and Cocktails are always first class. A visit to the Stonehouse is a visit with good friends. We look forward to visiting and celebrating many more occasions there.

    One of the nicest experiences I’ve recieved in a restaurant for a long time. You are made welcome from the moment you arrive by Mags and her staff. Every member of the team were very pleasant, interactive annd attentive to our group. There were a large number of young staff and all smiling which was very refreshing to see. Continued success to you all @ the Stonehouse👏👏👏

    The Old Stone house in Ballinlough is our favourite restaurant in Connaught and we make a point of going there, at least once, every time we're in the area. The food is always delicious, well presented, served hot and quickly. The restaurant prides themselves on focussing on local providers. The FOH woman is always very friendly and the rest of the staff are just as friendly as well. Couldn't rate it higher.
