Amazing food that's not too expensive. Customer service was great and the cocktails were just as good. Definitely will go back!!

The place looks nice, staff are friendly, warm and very accommodating. However really disappointed with the food. For the price we paid I expected freshly cooked food - not a sit down version of something I could have got from the Chinese takeaway around the corner. Won’t be returning for food.

It is the second time that we have eaten at The Optimist The food was amazing and the staff extremely pleasant, constantly asking if everything was ok and did we need any more drinks. Would definitely go back and definitely recommend it.

We had a very nice evening celebrating my Grandson’s Birthday the food was excellent and I can highly recommend the Crispy Chicken Strip Salad!

This fairly new(to me) Asian fusion restaurant was truly outstanding. The interior very stylish, the service perfect and the food very tasty. Can only recommend it
