The overall experience was great.
Venue , food , ambience, service was all excellent.
Couldn’t find fault.
Very disappointing. Had the tasting menu which was really bland and over priced. One course was so salty it was inedible. There was no atmosphere and the service was so slow we were bored and ready to leave about 3 courses in.
Excellent choice of wines although a little expensive.
Food was presentd well and of excellent quality - fresh and tasty.

Food and service were as always top quality. The only minor issue is the tables are a little squeezed together, along with music and the type of flooring this does mean it’s sometimes hard to hear your own conversation - especially on a busy night.

Birthday. It was very pleasant... I would say the food was good but not fantastic.
This is the third visit to Oxford Blue and it is always amazing. The staff are so efficient, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food is exceptional!
Service was poor. seemed to be under staffed.. constantly asking for things to be delivered. Food was good and well presented.. but probably not worth the money.
We had the most amazing dinner with excellent service by staff.
I took my friend for a special birthday lunch and both thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
Food and service were very good though it was a bit of a surprise to learn about the jazz night upon arrival...
The evening dinner was enhanced by a couple of hours listening to a jazz musician. The all inclusive cost embraced a restricted - but pleasant - menu. There was a choice from two items for each course - of the three course meal. Pleasantly served and looked after by the attentive staff. This is not my first visit and I do live in Old Windsor. I would suggest that further events - such as that attended - would be welcome and attract more local customers.

Great service and amazing food.
I had the Sunday lunch tasting menu with pairing wines priced at £65 and £45 respectively. Portion sizes were good, and the quality of the food was top notch. Definitely worth the money.
While the Oxford Blue is not aimed at children, the staff were very accommodating of our two (aged 4 and 2), with a kids fish and chips or roast dinner on offer. The staff interacted with the kids in a great manner.
Looking forward to our return visit... hopefully as a date night rather than as a family!

As ever, the food was very good and the service excellent. It was the first time my guest had visited and he was most impressed - he felt the welcome we received on arrival was outstanding and the ambience was great. The visit cheered up a very wet day and there was the lovely touch of a little token birthday chocolate "goodie" as the visit was to celebrate my guest's birthday and the staff had picked up on this.
Portion size was poor. We all had the beef roast dinner. On the plate was half a carrot, half a shallot and a small spoonful of spinach with a slice of beef and yorkshire pud. We then had 5 small roasties between the 4 of us and a tiny bit of gravy. For £25 per portion I would have expected more that what was served to us.
Since the Oxford Blue opened we have enjoyed all all aspects of our visits until last Sunday. The tables were close together & our fellow diners were very loud !! They were overbooked & we were informed that the dish we had ordered would take at least 30 minutes to be served. Over 50 minutes later it arrived............the plates were cold & the portions of beef were small, over cooked & barely warm as were the vegetables. Neither the mustard nor the horseradish we requested arrived.
The service was poor from our arrival to our departure & when we managed to attract the attention of the "manager" he agreed to deduct the cost of our wine ?
I could add more comments but will just conclude by informing you how dissatisfied we were with our Oxford Blue Dining Experience
Went here for 50th birthday celebrations - exceptional choice of restaurant, the food was sensational - what we thought were small portions were more than sufficient to make us all feel full at the end of the meal. The extra touches were also appreciated, warm bread brought to the table, the little bonbons (meat and veggie options) that were presented and the salted caramel chocolate bar with little hammer at the end of the meal, plus of course the selection of your own meat knife from a box.
Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and we'll definitely return. If there was one tiny disappointment it was the cost of wine which seemed a little excessive, but that just meant we didn't over indulge in alcohol and could appreciate the food in all it's glory.

An amazing find! Wonderful cooking of mainly game dishes, which were so attractive to us that we could not decide on the main courses, so our knowledgeable waiter suggested we have both and share! All the courses were excellent, but I guess we preferred (by only a small margin) the delightful pheasant dish we had, although the venison was fine too. Beautiful restaurant as well, old fashioned and clubby with modern accents, and overlooking a meadow, so the views were pleasant too. Not especially cheap (I find game rarely is) but good value because everything was so good. If you like game, I would heartily recommend this place.
Really bad value dinner as the standards have declined significantly. Service was slow and poor, with a lack of waiters. Will not go back and will not recommend.
Fantastic hunting lodge feel. Good food with a great selection of game. We had set lunch which was a very high standard. Looking forward to my next visit to try the a la Carte.

Although, I would like 1 or 2 dishes on menu to choose from, especially vegetarian.
Lovely Friday lunch for two - seated quickly and nice spacing from other tables. Service attentive but not pushy and the winter menu offered a great choice - highlight was the pheasant main and tiramisu souffle. Not cheap but the £207 bill (incl service charge) included £75 on drinks so given the quality of the food it isn’t bad value for what you get. We will be returning!
It is very nicely done up inside and welcoming. Unfortunately we had to wait a very long time before our order was taken and then extremely long waits in between courses.
Food presentation was good but the portions small.
Noise level could have been better as it was difficult to have a conversation with our friends.
Beautiful place. I booked this on the recommendation of trip advisor. Not disappointed. Food was the exceptional the service was knowledgeable about all aspects of the food. Made a lovely weekend even better. Can not recommend this place highly enough.
The Windsor Great Park game inc the red deer was a real treat, quite superb and I feel very lucky to have had the privilege of dining here. The menu is seriously underrated and the service etc superb, thoroughly recommend!
Fantastic evening. We decided to take the tasting menu and were not disappointed. The food was delicious and a particular mention to the pasty chef. Her attentions to detail was Incredible. The service was impeccable, Liam was extremely attentive and a wonderful front of house host.
All in all a fab evening and we all look forward to returning very soon. Thank you.
