The Palm Tysons Corner
The food quality is awful! I’m shocked The Palm is still in business.
Service was very poor. Slow to greet. Slow to fill drinks. Waiter forgot we were there.
It was amazing! Michael the waiter was very attentive, helpful and charming. Couldn’t ask for a better Birthday celebration for my best friend.
Excellent food & service.
Wonderful dinner out! The Palm never fails to provide great food along with wonderful staff service. The meal was delicious, as always, but some guests in cutoff shorts and athletic shorts walking by our table caused the evening to be less than stellar. Patrons-please don’t ruin a special night out for others by dressing inappropriately for a nice establishment. Maybe it’s just a summer thing in Washington?!?
We went for our anniversary and the service and food was excellent and they acknowledged our anniversary as well! Delightful experience!
It did not start out well. We had reservations for several weeks- a table for 4. Why were we immediately shuttered into the "overflow room"? THIS IS AN IMMEDIATE TURN-OFF. Little ambience, few occupied tables. Shouldn't this be for "last minute" reservations & walk-ins? Overall, it was ok. Food is ok, not spectacular. Final tab for 4 just under 500.00. We won't be back.
Solid experience. Very loud and noisy.
Outstanding experience all around.
I had put in a special request on Opentable that the reservation was for my friend and colleague's promotion. No mention was made of this. We also asked for a specific waiter and were told yes and then given someone else.
My wife and I celebrated our 54th wedding anniversary with our 2 sons and 8 grand children and all went extremely well, from soup to ending with a special ice cream cake. Many thanks to Tim and his outstanding staff.
Overall good. But the food really isnt anything to write home about. The scallops were bland, and the habanero sauce was pure fire. Was missing some sweetness. The steaks were cooked properly, but run of the mill.
the food and service were fantastic the noise was intolerable. We were seated in the "private dining area" just off the bar.....we were expecting to be able to talk to each other but several bar patrons had other plans.
Always a treat! Lobster was excellent!! Highly recommended.
We took our son to celebrate his 2nd birthday and his first Palm dining experience couldn't have been better! Everyone was super attentive and Jeremy really made it special for all of us.
The service and the food was great!! It was very noisy though! But we loved the lobster! Brussel sprouts were ok, not outstanding!!
But love the lobster special for sure
I’ve been going to this restaurant for over 15 years and this time the service just was not the same. The waiters were kind, but they never asked how I wanted my meal cooked and the table wasn’t cleared of crumbs.. while this may seem insignificant, it was the first time it hadn’t happened. I’m hoping it’s not the start of a decline.
Always like the Palm for their annual lobster specials. Great lobster, excellent service, and fun ambiance. Our booth was waiting for us when we got there, and we were seated immediately. Our martinis were not done dry enough for us, and when we noted that to our server, he whisked them away and immediately came back with martinis that were perfect. Can't ask for more.
Noisy, busy, some food items from menu not available. Food on the greasy side. Glad we tried it, but will likely not return.
Very loud but still a great place to go
This was my husbands and my anniversary dinner and we just had a great time. The waiter was excellent!
Always enjoy the Palm. We usually go a couple of times during the summer to enjoy the lobster special. The service is always outstanding as well as the food. An enjoyable time was had by all!
Lobster dinner with friends. No one does as good a job with lobsters as the Palm. Alex was our waiter and he did everything right. Prompt, knowledgable, attentive without being intrusive. Everything was done right and by the way...the Palm makes great margaritas.
The lobster and steak was amazing.
The service wasn’t worth the cost, folks were showing up for dinner in shorts, and the restaurant was generally loud.
Great food and service. Take a booth in the bar. Full menu. And, Dennis makes your time there a nice experience.
Been many times to The Palm but this one was pretty disappointing. It was my actual birthday Saturday and despite the fact that we included that information in the reservation no one acknowledged it the entire dinner. Service was very slow. Took more the 1/2 hour just to order drinks. The flow got a little better but not much. Steaks were generally over-cooked or under-cooked. There are a lot of steakhouses in the Northern Virginia area and we felt that on this occasion they were merely going through the motions. Definitely no value for the amount spent unfortunately.
This place has gone downhill. The food wasn't good, and the wait staff was terrible. The lobsters were just ok, the steak was sub par, and the sides tasted terrible. The mushrooms were sweetened with balsamic and the potatoes tasted bland. We also had to deal with a waiter behind us talking to his friend very loudly who wasn't seated in his section, and he kept going and going. We couldn't talk over him. We told our waitress that the waiter was being loud, it didn't matter. It was a relief when another waiter told the loud waiter he had people sitting in his section. I just expect a little more when you spend $300 on dinner. I didn't know this restaurant has become a bar scene. It was also bizarre their dinner napkins had so much lint that it was extremely noticeable on our clothes. The Palm in DC changes your linen to match dark or light clothes. It was empty for dinner.
Great food and service as always. Thank you! Tim and the crew always do an excellent job and this experience was no different than any other.
Very happy, waiter was a pro. Had a very nice dining experience
It was fine. I had a rambunctious baby with me, and they tried their best to accommodate us.
Absolutely outstanding! Will be dining here again!
Service and food was excellent.
Celebrated our anniversary at The Palm. It was fabulous as always!
Service was off. Asked for bread twice before it was brought to table. The lobster was brought to table and then I had to track down a waiter to crack it open for us. I asked for nutcrackers for the shells and was told that they were t sure they had them. The waiter then brought over one......there were 2 of us at the table! We ordered dessert for my birthday and the waitress brought it over and said there wasn’t any body to sing because they were busy! Definitely a disappointing experience.
Great experience. This was a Thursday night and the place was hopping. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Table service was wonderful and very personable. Food was delicious and prepared just as asked. Highly recommend.
Always perfect; Tim and his staff always do a great job. Rowena and I were celebrating our birthdays together, again at The Palm, and everything was outstanding.
My family and I had a wonderful dinner here this past Sunday evening. Our server, Mike, went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable - especially since we were dining with our two little ones in tow. Everyone loved The Palm!!
The monstrous 5-lb lobster was awesome as expected! And the creamed spinach has actually gotten better in the last 10 years. The Palm NEEDS to create a few vegetarian/vegan options though.
