The Palm Tysons Corner
Great food and service as always. Thank you! Tim and the crew always do an excellent job and this experience was no different than any other.
Absolutely outstanding! Will be dining here again!
Service and food was excellent.
Celebrated our anniversary at The Palm. It was fabulous as always!
Service was off. Asked for bread twice before it was brought to table. The lobster was brought to table and then I had to track down a waiter to crack it open for us. I asked for nutcrackers for the shells and was told that they were t sure they had them. The waiter then brought over one......there were 2 of us at the table! We ordered dessert for my birthday and the waitress brought it over and said there wasn’t any body to sing because they were busy! Definitely a disappointing experience.
Great experience. This was a Thursday night and the place was hopping. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Table service was wonderful and very personable. Food was delicious and prepared just as asked. Highly recommend.
Always perfect; Tim and his staff always do a great job. Rowena and I were celebrating our birthdays together, again at The Palm, and everything was outstanding.
My family and I had a wonderful dinner here this past Sunday evening. Our server, Mike, went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable - especially since we were dining with our two little ones in tow. Everyone loved The Palm!!
The monstrous 5-lb lobster was awesome as expected! And the creamed spinach has actually gotten better in the last 10 years. The Palm NEEDS to create a few vegetarian/vegan options though.
Personally I have visited the Palm located in Washington DC. For the Tyson's Corner it was my first and honestly I found this location warm and inviting. The DC location was more hurried, less attentive, but still provide good service. I can only guess it's because of its location in the city and in most cases, I dined for business, as opposed to this day for personal. The Maryland Crab soup special was excellent, my wife was appreciative of the availability of the Bernaise sauce for her Filet Mignon and the Herlands also had a great time with the Veal and New York Strip. A pleasant and good time was had by all. Wonderful experience and definitely will visit again. Thank you for making it an enjoyable evening.
Always a great place. Terrific food, service, and atmosphere.
One of our favorite steak and lobster establishment in the DMV. Absolutely ❤️ The Palm
Best of them all!!! Can’t get a better meal and or better service anywhere! Hats of to Tim and his team for outstanding service!
The food was good and the service was outstanding; however, the ambiance and the room noise was ridiculously bad. The Palm stresses that attire is business casual but during our dinner, I saw at least 3 tables where men were wearing baseball caps and cargo shorts. The noise level is absolutely on par with what you'd find in a sports bar. The Palm is not a place for a relaxing, romantic dinner. Overall, the pricing was insanely high, even for the McLean zip code. 55 dollars for a small filet, and 89 dollars for a lobster?? Honestly, I would recommend people eat at Capital Grill, where the ambiance is wonderful, and the pricing is not so "insane."
Food was very good. Steaks were very tender and cooked to perfection. Service was excellent! Eating area not very large and sound bounces off hardwood floors. Rather loud when the restaurant is full.
Not the best noise level for a business lunch but do like valet parking on rainy day.
First time at The Palm. Parking was a pain will definitely use valet parking next time. the restaurant, wait staff and food were really good. The waiter made suggestions for wine and they were very good.
The noise level made it difficult to hear conversations across the table but we managed. Will come back for team and client meetings.
We love going to The Palm! The lobster summer special is our favorite—Caesar salad, lobster, and the half and half. It can’t be beat. We’ve had Jeremy wait on us several times and he does and excellent job.
We usually LOVE The Palm. Our experience this time was awful! The service was horrible and the steak was not what we usually expect from this restaurant. If I am spending over $700 for a meal, I expect the service to be much better
Thanks for a special Father's Day Dinner! It was great!
Amazingly delicious food and service! Thank you to the staff for making it a great evening.
Our server was rude, inattentive and left much to be desired. I would have walked out but I had a certificate to use that was expiring. You couldn’t even use it on the lobster special so we got lobster from the menu. Not sure what the difference was as it was never explained to us. Server was very slow to even give us water or a hello and once he eyed my certificate service got progressively worse. The meal was still another $100 on top of the certificate so he should not be so quick to judge. The assistant to the sever was soooo amazing we wish we could have just tipped him directly. He should be moved up and the server fired. I will never return to The Palm again.
Always a great meal and a convenient location in Tysons.
My wife and I split the 4 lb. lobster and both agree it was the best we have had in a long time. The service was its usual best.
The Palm Tysons is always my go-to steak house in the DC area (or elsewhere for that matter). The food, service and vibe are always front and center.
Something is wrong in their kitchen. Oysters were not ice cold. Mignonette didn’t come out with them and had to be thrown together. Too acidic (needed a splash of water). Asparagus soup was gummy. Seasonal corn was clearly frozen kernels and waaaay too salty with the pancetta. Seared tuna app (from the prime time menu) was missing basil and salt.
Likely one of the best steaks I have ever had.
Excellent service and food.
Nice birthday dinner! Steaks and fish were perfect. Everything was served correctly and in a timely manner. Service was very good. No problems at all. Their Palm Ale wasn’t bad either. It’s loud but that doesn’t bother me. I like a bit of loud. I’m sure we’ll head back.
The restaurant provides a wide variety of menu choices served by a professional and friendly staff. Great atmosphere.
Phenomenal! Our large group ordered a wide variety of things off the menu, and all were delicious and cooked to perfection. They also understand service--how to be attentive and helpful without being intrusive or overbearing. This restaurant is an absolute gem!
Great filets and service! Visit every time I am In Tyson’s Corner.
The waiters are so nice, the thousand island dressing delicious. I loved everything.
The palm is great for out of town guests but noise level is always horrible! Always to loud!
Walked in with wife and child two minutes before a 5:30 reservation. No one in front of us and no one behind us. We were told it would be a 10 min. Wait or we could sit in the Bar area. “It’s quieter” the host told us. “My family is in there” he says.
With a hungry child (thus the early seating) we said ok.
30 minutes later we finally get our order in!!
The bar had one man running the show as I watched the host seat other people in the main dining and go back to entertaining his family (the real reason they were seated at the bar).
I mentioned they were understaffed to the bartender / waiter but received just a smile and let’s move on demeanor.
No manager came by, to check on us (the bar area had at best 12 people in it) no change in visits to the table, no apology for my clear frustration. Just treated as this is business as usual.
Learned my lesson. There are to many good restaurants with good food and service for less.
As usual the food was great and the service was up to par...only we could have used a cracker for the king-crab legs (asked but not provided).
High price for an average quality. It took 5 min to get menus once seated. Sevice was good, not exceptional or excellent, which is what one would expect for the price.
Very loud! It was difficult to hear the person across the table from me. The food was pretty good, but it took over 10 minutes for us to be greeted by a waiter. Considering the high food and wine prices, the service and ambience should have been exceptional, but sadly, neither was. Consequently, it will be our last visit to this restaurant.
Great Dinner ate outside !
