Boxing huni vs gallen
Food was good but the clearing off table was way too quick
Most times my drink was taken without being finish !!!!
Also a surcharge for every time I used my debit card !!! Never had that before
Great food, great atmosphere and decent prices. Love the renovations.
Overall I had a good afternoon/evening I booked a booth on line from 3pm for my birthday, I expected to have the booth for the whole time I was there not realising that there was a time limit & someone booked it from 8pm this should have been made clear at the time of booking as we had to move off our booth & find seating for 15ppl.
The food at The Peakhurst is sublime. I am an avid pizza lover and I was not disappointed. My family went back to basics and had a plentiful chicken schnitzel which was complimented with an out of this world appleslaw.
Great place to eat and we will be back for more.
Very good value, especially on Monday to Friday lunch.
Service was very poor. We ordered James Squires 150 lashes beer battered fish , when served , the fish was not on the plate. We took it to the counter, the people serving were not apologetic, no Sorry , from them . It was a big disappointment.
A great modern pub with lots of seating, good atmosphere and variety of food of the menu!
The food is fantastic and value for money . We have tried different meals and they are all very tasty . The food came out pretty quick which was great seeing that we were a party of 18 .
The guy that was playing the guitar and was also singing on Sunday night on the 16th of May was fantastic the only sad part was from the back room where we were sitting we couldn't see him or hear him we tried to stand close to the section where he was singing from time to time . I did want to congratulate him but by the time i went back he was gone. So if you guys have a chance could you let him know .
Good food, great location, prices comparable to similar venues. Good variety in menu.
This is our third visit in recent months and are looking forward to our next visit.
Food is delicious! Comfortable, relaxed environment. Quizzame on Monday's is a lot of fun.
love the atmosphere
reminds me from overseas
Food is good, family friendly. Having a red? Buy the bottle! Try not to be seated near the musos. Overall, a good experience.
Enjoyed Mother’s Day breakfast with my family and grandchildren but was disappointed that no kids menu was provided. A big oversight by organisers of the day.
The Peakhurst provides great service and food at a great price. Newly renovated gives a great atmosphere with a area for kids to play
Server very rude, our buzzer when off and when we went to pick up our food, the server made a big deal about it not being our meal and questioned us and started calling out to the cook, “they want their order”. When the buzzer when off again, we went over to pick up our food, my daughter said to me be careful the plates are hot as to which the server screamed” get a napkin” and threw them at us
Entree was served with the main meal
At no time where we rude to her, she really ruined our night out
Food was ok, same as you would get in any pub
Have tried to contact Peakhurst but have had no reply
The food was excellent and all seven mains came out together. Seating was well positioned for conversation and the table cleared promptly. A very nice family night.
Enjoyed the pizza which was quick and good value. Great staff too
Great food - the Barra and risotto is excellent. I’ve never had a meal that wasn’t of high quality at The Peakhurst.
Love this local , good choice of food but maybe more choice in desserts please. Great for large groups
Opentable closed their bookings app at 2.30 while I was half way through my booking so had to phone to complete my reservation. The Peakhurst staff member was very apologetic and completed my request over the phone
Love going to the Peakhurst such an improvement from the old pub
We booked online and there was a couple of spot 1145 or 1pm we picked 1145
When we arrived all the tables were reseved and then I asked the bar staff we booked online and they checked the list and we were not on the list they got the manager and they told us that we must have just booked as they closed the bookings now ?
There were no tables left we were offed to only to sit next to the play room with very high stools I have 3 kids under 5years old
Our lunch was trying to get them to sit in the seat without falling 👍
They didn't try to find us anything's better for kids our age and we not helpful 😔
The food is good value, kids enjoy a play.. cocktails are yummy.
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at The Peakhurst. It was an amazing experience. My family and I are booked in on Sunday the 13th for Mother’s Day and after I related my experience to them they are so excited to experience what we had. Well done Peakhurst we really loved what you handed out it was truly worth 5 stars. Keep up the good work.
Lunch with a friend - relaxed and easy - good food and pleasant surroundings.
Nice food great place with nice atmosphere and design to go eat! Make sure you make a booking so you won't be disappointed because it's constantly booked out.
Very relaxing comfortable overall a good experience the beer selection was good the potatoes with Parmesan and rosemary were fabulous steak was cooked to perfection we will be returning and have already recommended the peakhurst to friends
Good good, nice place, good service but a bit too noisy.
Fantastic food, service and facilities. Great for kids.
This was my 3rd time at the peakhurst since the renovations, and I have to say that it's my favorite local place to eat. The kids love the play area, and the food is great. Will definitely come back many times again.
Table was in a great location near the kids area like requested, so everyone could relax & enjoy dinner. Kids play area kept them busy, but annoying when big kids are in there unsupervised, not playing very safely.
We invited friends who are from the Eastern Suburbs to come to The Peakhurst and they absolutely loved the place. Food was great and the place had a really great atmosphere you could talk and hear each other which was wonderful. Thank you The Peakhurst you never fail to impress us with your food and drinks.
Good vibe but a little loud entertainer a waste when NRL onscreen and surrounding crowd noise
Food was great, place looks amazing and the lady that served us was very helpful. Kids play area kept the little ones entertained too.
Catch up and watch the footy on the big screen
Food was fabulous very good value for the price. We had a lovely night with friends
There were four of us and we did enjoy the meal. Just a tad bit noisy and the tables a bit too close to others. Otherwise the food was very nice.
Food very good, ambience is lovely
Only one issue the other night was there was not enough staff on. Line up for drinks was jus too long.
