The Pheasant is a traditional thatched pub restaurant nestled in the Cambridgeshire countryside at the heart of the beautiful village of Keyston located 15 miles from Huntingdon or just 4.5 miles from Raunds. Honest, fresh, and locally sourced food forms part of the modern British menu with a twist complemented by an extensive yet eclectic wine list.

What makes The Pheasant stand out is its two beautiful but very different areas inside for guests to choose from. This is a beautifully refurbished pub set in a pretty village. The staff here were extremely helpful and friendly and the food was excellent. There is a car park at the rear and an outdoor area for the summer.

We arrived in the morning with our dog and completed a 2 1/2 hour circular walk from the car park. We were ready for our lunch! We were all made very welcome when we arrived and given a table in the bar with a bowl of water for our dog. The food was delicious. We will certainly be coming back. Thank you.

Lovely adaption the the restaurant bar area very enjoyable meal 3rd time we’ve eaten here since opening and it hasn’t let us down yet! Very tasty food nice drinks especially the cocktails! Very accommodating for our young daughter to staff are lovely too which is so nice! Thank you!

The atmosphere on the Friday night we visited was fantastic. The service was amazing, all staff very polite and attentive, also great knowledge of the menu and wine list. The salt cod croquette’s were delicious as was the lamb we had for main. Will definitely be back!

Very welcoming and excellent service throughout- friendly but not intrusive. Good appetisers which came promptly with our drinks. Excellent land dish and pork loin with interesting vegetables. One of the party was very pleased with her Hake dish. Very nice to have the Pheasant back in business
