Irish
A truely modern bar and grill steeped in history. A pub has been situated at No.86 Duleek St since the mid 1700`s Most notably owned by a renowned eccentric known as The Barber ( Thomas Callan ). A man made famous by his antics during World War 2 . He drank all the pubs whisky rations himself . Closing for business the day they arrived and reopening when he sobered up due to his supply running out . He repeated this procedure the next delivery day ... thus beer was the only staple for his customers .. How things have changed . The current pub has one of the largest selections of spirits in the North-east.

Really enjoyed having dinner here. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was worth the price and looked presentable and tasted really nice. The venue is very nice for a dinner setting and it was nice to have the TVs and radio playing. The side orders were also amazing and better than expected. The staff also brought me a slice of cake and sang happy birthday to me. Overall my family and I had an amazing experience.

Having no real Irish beer on tap is a little unforgivable but other than that a very enjoyable visit. Friendly and efficient staff.

In the centre of Drogheda and away from the hustle and bustle. Food is good and there is plenty of choice. I'd recommend the burger or chicken curry. Service was good and its a good atmosphere

First time visiting The Pheasant and it won't be the last. Lovely food and friendly staff. Sorely lacking on real Irish beers though.
All in all a lovely time was had, made even better by the attentiveness of the staff.

For the covid recommendations to work table service will need to be better. We were waiting 10-15 minutes to order and about 20 minutes to pay our bill. Although we tried getting the attention of the staff several times we were completely being ignored (although there was a good few staff working and they weren't that busy) and ended up having to go to the bar
