About The Pink And Lily
Owned by a local family, managed by local company Oak Taverns and with a wide choice of local beer, as well as serving locally-sourced food wherever possible, it’s fair to say that after an extensive refurbishment 18 months ago, The Pink has gone back to its roots as a friendly, quality local pub: muddy boots, muddy families and muddy (well-behaved!) dogs welcome!
In the extensive garden you’ll find heated dining, an adventurous children’s play area and a barbecue for those lazy summer weekends; plus two garden ‘pods’ providing a separate indoor/outdoor ‘dining room’ and seating up to six people each.
With a selection of real ales on tap and a fantastic wine list; an extensive range of lagers, ciders and spirits; stunning seasonal menus and an indoor games room to occupy both children and adults; open fires and a welcoming atmosphere; The Pink truly caters for everyone!

The Pink And Lily Ratings and Reviews
Lovely Sunday lunch for my husbands birthday. Great service. Unfortunately couldn't eat 2 of my roast potatoes as they were bruised badly and covered in black bits. Told the lovely Waitress who said she would pass it onto the kitchen. Other than that, was great!
We made an appointment for Sunday lunch with friends who had travelled from London. The atmosphere was very busy when we arrived at 1.30 but well managed. The food however was disappointing especially the soup of the day which we had to send back. The roast tomato and garlic soup tasted just like tomato purée, and interestingly once we had sent it back it was taken off the menu. The rest of the meal was ok quite average and we didn’t have pudding. Good service and they were apologetic about the starters. Will go again as it’s our local but might go straight to a main!
Had a lunch time Sunday roast for 10 of us.
Very good roasts although the other meals coming out to other tables looks mouth watering as well. So we will have to go back and try them.
Also noticed it's dog friendly
Staff very friendly and helpful and service with a smile and food very good
We booked a table for 7pm and when we got there at 7 were told that the kitchen closes at 7 so we would need to be quick Ordering. There was a very limited menu and the member of staff who showed us to our table was very abrupt and unwelcoming. We decided to leave without ordering.
