The food was very average. Over cooked tasteless burger, over cooked chicken breast, freezer chips etc. Sadly, I will not be returning.

Due to a central heating issue, we were called at 3 pm to suggest we cancel and find another venue. Too late to book elsewhere so long-standing evening with friends was compromised and ended up with take away. Second occasion where things went wrong so will give up and delete from possible venues

Really nice food with swift service and friendly waiting. Not too busy and value was decent.

A pleasant family meal with our grandson, and glad the children's menu was interesting and not too basic. Service fairly slow, even though it was very quiet at 12.00 on a Saturday. We all had various chicken meals which were tasty. Relatively expensive.

Went Sunday for roast. Beef was shrivelled like it had been cooked and put under heat to warm it up. Disappointing.

Such a shame as a lovely location, food was ‘just ok’, but service let it down, we had to wait ages to get the attention of the waitress & we were not asked at all if we would like another drink through the whole meal.

We had a nice meal to celebrate our son's birthday and with such a wide menu choice, there was something for everyone. The quality of food was good but we could have benefitted from faster service.

I have been coming to this restaurant since it opened and to be honest I can not understand why it is always so slow.

Fantastic experience at the Pomeroy. Had been built up to high expectations, and the food was really good to a high standard, but just a couple of things let it down from being excellent. Lamb main was slightly overdone, and the salt & pepper needed more ... salt & pepper. We will be going back as there is an extensive seasonal menu, the service was excellent, and other dishes including the scallops & cod loin were fantastic.
