Perfect location, interesting menu, fair price and really lovely staff.
Fantastic breakfast options and such a cute space if you manage to get a booth. Service was great I would highly recommend for Breakfast or brunch.
This is a lovely place for an excellent meal in quiet surroundings with unobtrusive service
I have eaten at The Potting Shed two or three times now and each time the quality of food, service, range of choice and ambience always deliver. The intimate nature of the bar and restaurant is warm and inviting but not crowded.
For us , excellent meal. Greeted very pleasantly on arrival, Food was tasty ( all courses), waitresses and waiter ( I think in fact all served us at one time or another) were very good without going OTT . Sensible value for money in central London.. Have been before and will definitely come back. Slightly noisy table next door to us but not a great problem . Well done !! Graham
I had breakfast here, as a group of three, no alcohol. The cost was £70, and I find this ridiculous, even in London. I ordered eggs and bacon, and when it came out, it looked like they gave me one single egg--allegedly it was two, I had to order an extra egg. It was literally a smaller portion than I would expect for a child. There were three strips of bacon--my porting was £20. The taste was fine, it was nothing special. The restaurant is very cute, but I can't get over the price (and this was a work breakfast, which I will be expensing). Also, breakfast was at 9:00, and they were already out of orange juice. The overall experience was disappointing.
Pre football match lunch in peace and quiet. Excellent service , tasty food and not crowded would highly recommend
A hidden gem... lovely restaurant in the heart of
Marylebone , great service and very nice food as always!
Great staff and service. Food very well served and cooked.
A really lovely meal. Excellent service, cocktails mixed to perfection and delicious food and wine.
My favourite place for a Sunday chill out. It was quiet, but staff were lovely as usual, very attentive and accommodating. The music was perfect, beautiful playlist.
Highly recommended. It’s a shame they don’t do a brunch menu. I will be frequenting this place if even only for a cup of tea!
Booked in for prosecco brunch, (£34 pp for 2 courses and bottomless prosecco), with my friends and family after trying on my wedding dress. Special occasion. Massive let down, as they said the offer had expired and they wouldn’t honour it. Then we ordered from the breakfast menu, a few of us had something on toast (avocado/mushrooms etc) . The portions were stingy, overpriced and I could have cook it better at home. On top of that the prosecco on offer was £46 per bottle! Overall disappointing for all of us- I won’t be returning and I certainly won’t recommend unfortunately.
This is a good place for a catch up as the noise level is quite low. The food is good (great mushroom risotto) and the service friendly. A guitarist played for some of the evening, which was nice rather than intrusive.
Excellent food and wine
The Dover sole was excellent and so was the lamb
We took the lobster and linguine as a starter and it was a blessing !
Really nice restaurant and nice service
Extremely good staff - friendly on arrival - good quiet place to have a lunch and catch up with a friend
Nice and small - would come again
I think this place has gone downhill. New staff. The tricolore salad was poor. A few pieces of avocado poor tomatoes. Mozzarella was good. Service patchy, I particular the waitress originally would no provide a clean glass to taste the New bottle of wine saying 'it's the same as the last one'. She seemed to think thst as it was screw top, we were not entitled to taste it! She was quite aggressive. Finally £4.50 for a cup of coffee is too much
Beautiful restaurant, such a pretty place to eat. Loved the wall of pots that lit up. Nice smelling soaps and lotion in the rest rooms.
Nice cosy corners and nooks to sit in, no loud music. A lovely place to dine.
Fantastic dining experience in every way.
Had a lovely Xmas lunch here - staff were all fantastic. I thought the dessert menu could of been slightly better but it was nice all the same. Delicious food, great wine, wonderful staff and a really fun atmopshere.
Very good service and food and atmosphere. I went there on Christmas Day.
Quirky, lively restaurant, but with an intimate feel too. Great service and a tempting menu. All in all a great evening!
This hidden gem is truly worth discovering. Very friendly staff and very good quality food and service.
Super little find, lovely and convenient setting. Friendly staff and tasty food. we booked early (18:30), so pleased we did as it filled up pretty quickly. Rather disappointed that they ran out of steak so early, but I chose Chicken as an alternative and was quite pleased. Thought the Prosecco could have been colder, but all in all a pleasant evening.
always a great spot for a friendly quick breakfast - often use it for business meetings as well.
Lovely food with good value set menu - wine a little expensive but very good otherwise
Food and service was impeccable and the ambience was really lovely.
The basic problem with the food on this lunchtime visit was that, while tasty, everything uncharacteristically contained too much salt: the salmon, the duck and even the side salad were at fault; I told the staff. Hopefully, this was a one-off; other than the salt level, the experience was pleasant as ever.
It is so convienient for me when I come into Marylebone station as my walking is not good.I meet several different members of my family there for lunch.
From the warm greeting on first arrival to the excellent food, attentive friendly professional service, decor, ambience, the superb guitarist playing beautifully to the friendly farewell when we left everything was just right and made for a very relaxed, enjoyable and memorable evening. Thank you.
This is a very nice restaurant conveniently situated next to Marylebone station and Baker Street. The quality of the food was excellent and good value. However, the cost of drinks were prohibitive. All of us couldn't believe the cost of a bottle of Prosecco. It was £46! Really? We decided on a bottle of Chenin Blanc at £27 which was also pretty expensive.
Please don't rip people off with overpriced drinks.
Otherwise a very nice restaurant.
We booked this last minute originally just for location and are very glad we did. Food was very good, nicely presented and appetising and the atmosphere just right. A little gem in a brilliant location for Marylebone station and the surroundings. We would definitely go back again.
Lovely atmosphere, amazing food, perfect for afternoon tra
Lovely service, friendly but not intrusive. Massive brownie points for pouring away my glass of champagne and opening a new bottle before bringing over. Nice, classic food. Dessert a bit large but hardly a problem!
Great service, lovely food and very nice ambience. Will definitely return
Such a lovely, warm, cosy, homely environment. The food was really delicious and the staff were friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend and will definitely return.
Least inspiring so far of the venues owned by this group. Pales badly if you know Ham Yard, for instance. Thought it is conveniently not slap bang in the Centre of London. Staff tried hard, but didn’t “own” what they did, more like well intentioned, nice trainees.
Charming little restaurant.
It’s a good place to have lunch. Should try it for dinner in the evening. Food was good.
A lovely hidden gem around the baker str area, perfect for a date and catch up with good friends.
The food is cooked to a very good standard and there is a good wine list to compliment. Overall a good choice!
A good spot for a business breakfast.
