IT IS CLOSED
We had a lovely meal with many small attentions to details that warmed our hearts even despite the fact that the staff were all uncertain about their futures due to the current situation. We wish them all the very best of luck with the next weeks and will certainly plan to return and celebrate whenever the restrictions are all lifted.
A bit overpriced, no set menu after 8. Medium quality of meal but excellent service
Convenient location, nice ambiance. Enjoyable food and helpful staff
The Potting Shed - set 3 course menu
Lovely meal at The Potting Shed, Dorset Square. Second visit and again enjoyed our food.
Suggested improvements - 4 choices per course on the set menu please. Dessert in particular - would have liked a chocolate option.
Service was attentive and prompt. No fuss over changing to 2 people from a 3 person reservation. Great place to meet up with friends in a casual, yet formal setting.
A good place for casual lunch, bit pricey for what it is
Lovely food, service was great - polite staff and friendly. Ambience was perfect.
Service was pretty patchy, waited 30 mins for a pot of tea and then the wrong one arrived. Food came long before hot drinks and brunch was small portions for the price - it’s very much a hotel restaurant and it’s well presented, but it fell short of expectations given the price.
Had amazing time with my boyfriend. Service, food and environment itself is lovely.
Great restaurant, great food and a very nice atmosphere.
I have reviewed this restaurant many times and must make a similar comment as previously. Every thing about this place is good. It's convenient for me as I live around the corner, the staff are great, it's comfortable, good wine list, but oh the food! It's not that it's poor but consistently indifferent! As If no one in the kitchen is really trying or cares, given the prices being charged! Sorry I love the Potting Shed but not their food!
Small quirky restaurant with very pleasant staff. Service was excellent. Food ordinary but ok. Quite expensive for what we had.service charge at 12.5% was well earned. Would certainly go back but choose different item from menu.
We wanted a traditional english christmas dinner and the Potting Shed was "spot on" thank you to staff and Merry Christmas!
It's a cosy setting, the staff were very welcoming and helpful and the food was excellent in every way, as well as reasonably priced.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
Wonderful Xmas dinner
We are impressed with the level of service and a fantastic atmosphere
The service, food and ambience were fantastic for our Christmas meal at The Potting Shed. Thanks so much to all the staff for making this occasion so special.
We had a lovely evening, set menu is great value and we enjoyed the courses.
Slightly quirky restaurant but nicely cooked food and ambience. Close to Regents Park so good location for a walk there before or after. Service a little slow
Used to go here 20+ years ago when me and my friends worked nearby. It was a favourite. Thought we would revisit our old haunt and it didn't disappoint. Such a cute place. Great staff. Good menu choices. Chilled atmosphere. Even though we originally had the table for 2.5 hours we stayed much longer and then we were offered to move to a table at the bar . Will definitely go again and highly recommened it.
It’s a great venue to catch up with people for a coffee/drink or to do some work. Also lovely small restaurant with good food for a lunch or dinner. It’s a “go to” venue for me when local to Marylebone station. There are some great venues a little walk away in Marylebone High Street or Marylebone Lane, but this is closer to the station. Service is good if a little cold sometimes, but that’s fine. The test of any good venue is the cleanliness and this is superlative. Very clean and maintained toilets every time I’ve been.
Another lovely evening at the Potting shed. Great food and lovely service. Great live classical guitar music on a Thursday evening as well! Looking forward to our next visit.
What a find for me &the girls & OMG everyone was so accommodating - we will be back over & over again.
We arrived at 11.30 - left @ 4pm & not once did we get asked to hurry up or move or made to feel in the way .. brilliant staff - delicious food - gorgeous venue !
It’s just nice. Food is ok, service a bit sporadic but interior is very nice.
Very empty restaurant for a Saturday night. The restaurant was freezing and it took several requests for the a/c to be turned down. Food was average no more. No atmosphere. Very expensive for what we had. Would not return
Great venue and staff but food was not up to scratch unfortunately
Excellent food & service. Great attention to detail. Food good value, although drinks pricey, but that’s London, I suppose!
I have dietary intolerances and had let the restaurant k ow in advance they were very helpful about everything.
We just loved this place ❤️ our first visit and we wanted a venue close to Marylebone station . All perfect ! We will be returning . A little gem 💝
really good food on the set menu with good service at a reasonable price and nice and quiet so you can have a conversation without shouting.
Midweek meal meeting friends. Had a lovely cocktail in the cosy bar before enjoying a great dinner. Not inexpensive but worth it as the food was good quality. Service was good.
This was the first time we had been to the Potting shed and it won’t be the last.
Food was ok not great. I had the Veal Escalope- one of the more expensive items on the menu- the portion was huge but the meat was chewy and the breadcrumb coating was too dense. Service was slow even though the restaurant wasn’t overly busy.
Very disappointed have been many times in the past was always good service and food unfortunately this time was a let down mains were brought out to us whilst we were still eating our stater they took them back to kitchen but clearly left them on side as when they were brought back out food was cold they reheated (supposedly) brought out again but food was still cold ...duty manager seemed quite indifferent added to which even if it hadn’t been cold quite frankly was unappetising..definitely gone down hill which would explain why it wasn’t very busy compared to usual Thursday night. Won’t go there again. Is now very overpriced for what you get.
Delicious breakfast, very attentive service, great ambiance. Will definitely come back!
The restaurant is gorgeous and food was faultless and fab! There was one waitress who banged each plate down on the table! Unfortunately there was a guitarist playing and whilst it was beautiful, my friends and I had met for a long overdue catch up and found ourselves struggling to hear over her! My recommendation would be to check where you’re sitting at the time of booking so you can ask to be seated away from the music.
I thought this was a very nice place. Nothing too fancy but food was good and perfect for the quiet night out we wanted.
Lovely chilled out restaurant, good food, staff were amazing, very professional. Wasn’t rushed or made to give back the table after the two hours. Will defiantly be back
Slow service, average food, not what you would expect from this hotel chain would not go again.
Nice food, good ambience. Good value. I’ll be going again when I’m in the area!
