The Prince Albert
It is a traditional pub with the warm welcome you would expect, yet with a contemporary twist. With it’s sumptuous leather chairs, modern styling and rich wood furniture you will feel right at home from the very first moment you step foot inside. We are a disabled friendly establishment that can offer facilities in the bar, restaurant and the hotel for any guest through the main entrance, as well as having a purpose built disabled washroom.
Children and dogs are both welcome.

The only problem I have at the Albert is that radiators are never on whenever I have been. Having said that on Sunday they were so low then turned off. I was so cold.
The pulled pork nachos are amazing and the halloumi fries out of this world. The staff here are so welcoming and friendly. We ate in the restaurant which has a lovely vibe.
Cannot recommend enough.
Best food ! Friendly service and lovely visit 100% recommended
A good pub setting but was let down by the service and quality of the food. We arrived within the 15 minute period to be told we were late and couldnt have a table in the restaurant and had to sit in the bar (we were on time, the clock the staff member was looking at was 15 minutes fast). Then it took around an hour for the food to arrive after ordering and when it did the fish batter was very hard and the kids burger tasted like lamb and mint and not beef. When we raised the issues they were not interested.
The food quality was great, as always, but the service and organisation seemed a little slow compared to times we've visited before
The lovely lady that served us was lovely to my tired son has we had been to legoland even made his favourite tea. Lovely food and coffee ☕ too thanks so much
Live music was great defo should make a more regular thing had a great night !!!
Good table, good service, large portion, well laid out , dog friendly.
Excellent range of food, whether you want something light or a full meal. Really friendly staff
Varied menu, good quality food at a reasonable price.
Fantastic home cooked food, and lovely atmosphere.
A lovely family pub, good food and very friendly staff. We went as we had just left Legoland and looking for a bite before we went back to the hotel, this was perfect.
Only issue was parking, we ended up parking on the road side as their car park was full.
Food was so bland if it wasn't for the spicy mayo I would of thought I had covid . Do better guys
The food was lovely and the staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend
Always a lovely meal here.
Good food, not the cleanest and service could be better.
Pub food. Good service. Pleasant staff
Service was a little slow but they were short staffed and the football was on. Food was lovely and there’s a good choice on the menu. Table service by call buzzer on the table, tables a safe distance apart and sanitizer available.
Staff were amazing food was fantasic
Rebecca was really friendly and attentive and the food was very good. We'll definateoy return.
Excellent food and service even was moved so we could watch the football.
Excellent food ,service and selection of drinks.Feels very safe and all protocols are in place
Relaxing and clean environment. Delicious food. Friendly and efficient staff. Will definitely be going again
The food and drink were good but had to wait longer than we should have. The table of guests behind us were also very loud, and the waitress seemed to be paying much more attention to them, meaning that it took longer for us to get served.
Hopefully, next time, if we are to go, we will be served at a quicker pace.
Wendy and her team are always friendly and the food as ever was very good!
Great reception and fantastic service. The food was simplistic yet delicious and worth every penny.
They were extremely busy and under staffed, it took 30 mins to get seated, and another 30 mins for the waiter just to take our drinks order. I really felt for the few waiters working but it was shambles. I’m afraid I won’t be returning
Absolutely Brilliant!!!!! This is definitely my local now!
Table wasn’t available so were put on a table and warned we might have to move... luckily we didn’t.
The food was ok, good value but not particularly great but better than cooking myself.
Very safe, fantastic quality food, very friendly staff
Brilliant night after work with colleagues, nachos are lovely !
Service was terrible, we must have waited a good half hour before we got any service. That's only because we asked for service! Outside seating but very little heating. The food was mediocre. Would not be going there.
This is our local pub and we are so lucky to be so near to such a great pub. Lovely food and the staff are all amazing. Thanks Martin and Wendy for a cracking first night back after lockdown release. Back at the weekend.:)
We were shown to our "table" - this was a beer barrel with a round bit of wood on top with 2 wooden stools as seats . Two of the tables in our part of the pub were like this . Totally unsuitable for sitting down for a meal . Luckily the 2 young blokes at the next table (proper one with real chairs and everything) offered to swap with us or we would have had our food as takeaway . The place was very busy so the service was a bit slow however the gap between ordering our dessert and getting it was unreasonably long . During our long wait the manageress asked us to vacate our table as someone else had it booked in ten minutes time . Thankfully when I explained that we were waiting for our dessert she allowed us to remain . When it finally arrived my wife's waffle was rock hard to the point that it could not be eaten . I did get that dessert removed from the bill but our overall experience was such that we will not be going there again . On a positive note the waitresses were very helpful and polite and the rest of the food was perfectly acceptable (my chicken curry was very nice and so big that I could not eat it all ) .
I really enjoyed with hubby wi be comi ng back great menu too and lovely food
A lovely establishment with friendly staff and great food. A simplified Borris menu has been introduced alongside the main menu to meet current opening laws. When entering the premises a staff member ensures you are wearing a mask and your temperature is taken before you are guided to your table. This creates a safe feeling while you are in the premises. An overall positive experience that I highly recommend. I will definitely be going back again.
There was some social distancing but the room was not well ventilated and did not feel very COVID-safe compared to other places we have been to.
