What a fantastic experience to be in the wonderful Georgian Pump Room, with a trio of piano, cello and violin playing waltzes, exquisite Afternoon Tea and discrete service. The closest thing to Heaven on Earth, thank you all for a wonderful day.

A charming place. Service quick and unobtrusive. Food has a good range and arrived quickly and together. The most impressive thing however is the amazing building- chandeliers, beautifully high ceilings and a wonderful string quartet.
Will certainly visit again for a different menu .

Jess our waitress was professional and friendly. Loved the loose leaf tea. No clotted cream with scone? A great experience

The food was tasty and well presented. I had the afternoon tea and my sister the west country tea and both were filling and enjoyable. Well worth the price, the only downside was the musicians stopped playing just after we arrived so there was no music but we were late for lunch and early for dinner as were arrived at 4,30pm. Also I strongly recommend pre-booking as it is very popular.

We booked for afternoon tea at 2.45. We arrived at 2.30 and was seated straight away. We chose to change fillings in sandwiches when ordering. The waitress tried her best to put us off saying it could take twenty minutes to make. We stuck with it and got served in ten minutes. Sandwiches were good so not a problem. Once sandwiches were finished we ordered scones and were told they had all been put away so couldn’t have any. Apparently 2.45 is last booking for afternoon tea, so they just wanted to pack up and finish their shift. Overall very poor and would not recommend. Chris.

Everything was just as I expected and the playing of Happy Birthday and the cupcake was a lovely added touch for my friend. I will definitely come back.
Thank you.

Lovely visit had by 4 of us. Staff were good but could have been a bit more attentive or refilling coffee and tea and it was slightly cold in the venue. Food was amazing.

Great to have different options of traditional and non-traditional afternoon tea. This suited both in our party.
Great gluten free selection. Felt it was compatible to the standard which is normally not the case elsewhere.
It is pricier than some others but I think that it’s worth it as a treat.
The staff were helpful and friendly just at time’s it was hard to get their attention as they often left the floor at the same time.
We’d come again

We visited Bath as part of my wife’s recent birthday treats, the Afternoon Tea at The Pump Room was also a part of the celebration. We were made to feel welcome and had attentive service. My wife appreciated the Musical Trio playing Happy Birthday as a small cake with candle arrived at our table.

Lovely We enjoyed it all. It's a bit of a tall order to ask fir fifty characters! I'd advise you to change this, or you may lose some folk taking on the writing of feedback. This honestly is the first bit of negative feedback i have for you. The food and aervice and piano playing for our brunch visit -- all was great.

It was my birthday and the staff treated me to a candle in a chocolate cake, such a lovely touch. What spoilt our enjoyment was that the piano player stopped playing after 2 pieces and took his break. The place was not very full and this spoilt the ambiance to be honest.

If you're hoping for a relaxing afternoon tea while touring bath this is a perfectly adequate place to enjoy it. The decor of the room impressed extravagance with timeless grace. And the musicians did a fine job providing classical ambiance. However, if you are hoping for cloth napkins and fine china this is not the spot for you. The teapot, cups, and accessories were all the thick, white variety and the napkins were simple paper.

A birthday treat for my husband which he enjoyed. The food was very good as was the champagne. We were not rushed into finishing and moving on. The trio were excellent. The staff were professional and very aware of people with allergies which I was impressed with. The surprise was the birthday cupcake, candle and the trio playing Happy Birthday for my husband. A lovely afternoon thank you.

Great afternoon tea experience, very quaint!
The waitress who seated us was a bit grumpy, doesn’t cost a lot to smile every now and again.
Small orchestra made for a very pleasant experience, great value for money with the sandwiches and sweets

It was a bit noisy which made conversation a little difficult, the layout of the room could be better.

A lovely option to catch up with with good friends. The traditional tea was out outstanding and good service too. However I felt the ambience could have been better with less tables so giving a more relaxed atmosphere overall. I personally felt there were too many tables crammed into the hall and so a real shame.
