We took our Mum, for her 90th birthday lunch, to The Queen’s Inn today. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were warm, friendly and professional, and they surreptitiously gave Mum a beautifully designed chocolate birthday plate with yummy goodies and champagne. Absolutely delightful and we all loved everything about our lunch experience . Will definitely be back soon. Thank you to all the staff xx

Very good service and helpful staff. We decided to eat light and go for a starter and chose the tiger prawns and focaccia. The tiger prawns bore no resemblance to any tiger prawns either of us had ever encountered and therefore left us disappointed. If you want more than a few king prawns arranged in a row on a bit of puréed courgette then this dish is best avoided. The food others around us were eating looked better though. We probably made a poor choice but that doesn’t excuse the chef………

We went there for lunch on Sunday lunch and came away disappointed. The front of house were very young and came across nervous when serving us with no communication with us , this may bd to do with lack of training. ! The food was ok but poor , the veg wellington was more like a pasty and a soggy bottom !! The roast lunches lacked wow factor eg could actually cut the roast potatoes up . The only good gesture was a happy birthday greeting which ended the meal on a good kitten’s. Lessons to be learnt I think

Great pizzas to eat after going to the Kino Cinema. Good service, and fast. We shall go again!

Amazing food as always, even ordered a sausage for our dog to have. Maddie was our waitress and was so polite and made sure everything was ok

Very attentive staff. We were there for lunch on a Thursday and it was quiet. We shared the starters, which were very good. There were three of us and for the corn fritters and the halloumi chips, they divided perfectly between three - don't know if this was by accident, but it worked! The ribs were outstandingly good, the spicy chicken burrito was tasty and filling, and the seared tuna loin was good, albeit a little underdone for my guest's taste. Overall a very nice meal and the service was great.

Lovely evening meal chosen from a good menu. The food was well presented and the service was excellent. The restaurant was quiet (only 3 tables occupied) but it did not detract from our enjoyment.

Food superb, good sized portions, service fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Felt welcome. Kids menu good variety. Overall a great evening! We’d definitely come again

Lovely pub on a village High Street across from an old church. The decor was great, the food was very tasty and the service was friendly. I'm sure we will be back
