Always enjoy our Sunday lunch at the Queen’s Inn and the quality of food and service was up to its usual exceptional standard on this occasion. The venue is very accommodating with well-behaved dogs in the bar area and we enjoyed a relaxing drink afterwards in the comfy armchairs in the ‘snug’. There are some nice walks in the local area, too. Although an hour’s drive away, the Queen’s Inn will continue to be one of our favourite places to dine.

When I booked this I was offered a ‘fine dining’ experience in a formal dining room. We stayed the night in the inn which was lovely, newly refurbished rooms and a delicious breakfast. However the formal dining area was closed and we were offered a table in the bar area. The food was generic and not home cooked and although the staff were lovely and the service good / not what we had booked or expected.

Lovely service and ambience. Great for a local meal and pizza options available for something more casual

An excellent Mothering Sunday Lunch. Welcoming, well organised and attentive staff at the top of their role. Timely food to the table. Very good menu choice for the occasion. Meal well presented and much enjoyed. Greatly appreciated the efforts of all the staff including those unseen in the kitchen. Well done Chef! Thank you The Queens Inn

A busy night and rather rowdy. Acoustics of the room not helping to the noise level. Customers with large dogs blocking the main thoroughfare. Food was poor and expensive, especially considering the quality. A Thai chicken salad without much evidence of chicken. Overcooked fish and beans, shame as the service was friendly and attentive.

Great pub. First time for breakfast and it was lovely! Food delicious. Service good. We spent time afterwards enjoying the fire in the bar. Will defo return. Only negative was that it was at times chilly.
