The Rainforest Cafe London
Was so over priced we didn’t mind giving it if the food was eatable burgers was literally pink was not cooked got 2 kids meals my baby’s burgers was disgusting!! I wouldn’t waste your money coming here cost us £277 should of gone McDonald’s would of been happier with the food tbh ! Never again! Should be shut or change your chefs and food !!
The staff were lovely and very helpful I would definitely go again
Wonderful dining experience for young children. Food portions are large but a bit mixed in quality. It is rather pricey so wouldn’t go here regularly. A very good choice for a special family occasion.
The service was fantastic no long waits and very friendly and helpful
Food is very expensive for what it is even giving that it is London prices still not worth it.
Very loud with constant animal noises but fun and playful. Older kids would like more as young ones (2+) may be scared when the animals do go off.
Service was slow but helpful and happy. Lovely vibe just shame that it is soo loud with constant animal noises and high prices for basic food.
The food was awful, totally bland and tasteless. Ordered chicken pasta, linguine, and vegan burger, mash... There was no seasoning in any of the dishes. The only 2 items that were good were the chips and cheese dippers! When you pay over£100 you at least expect the food to taste good. The chicken pieces were so dry and plain. When you consider that this place is a tourist attraction for people from overseas, you really need to serve tasty food on your menu. The linguine was like eating plain boiled pasta without any sauce. It was just drenched in olive oil, with pieces of red peppers, broccoli and lumpy cheese and shavings of tasteless parmesan cheese. Even a ready meal would have been better. I'm so annoyed and actually disgusted with the quality of food.
The decor and surroundings were cosy and comfortable though.
Great for children xx good ambience a little tired in areas. Great enthusiastic staff. Nice food
Needs a revamp first waitress lovely the second waiter a rude man
Music got turned off very poor experience overall
Had a fabulous time
Great food portions
Lovely staff the grandchildren loved it and we were sat by the fish tank so kept the kids entertained
Our main meals didnt arrive and the kids had already finished mains and was on starters. So we had to cancel ours. Tables around us came after us and had received theirs.
Amazing restaurant!! My daughter did not stop talking about it once we left :)
Food/drink is slightly on the expensive side but the overall experience is amazing and staff go above and beyond!
Still a great place for children. Shame no storms this year. Food is very good.
We were sat at a table beside the stairs, it was very cold. Had to be moved after a while , as I was shivering.
Staff were good. Food excellent.
Elephants on song .
I knew before going not expect anything amazing food-wise, but this was truly abysmal. Pasta on the kid's menu is served with fries, all dishes are just dripping in oil.
Service extremely slow and chaotic - we were served our cocktails after all of our food had arrived. We asked for some water and it arrived with the bill!
2 mains + 2 kids meals + 2 cocktails => £85.
The decor itself is fun, and there are lots of animals for the kids to look out for - this is the only redeeming feature of this restaurant.
Really disappointing. They tried charging us £4.90 for tap water, the scenery is outdated. Food is poor and very expensive, I also felt unwell after attending. Not worth the money.
Having been to other Rain Forest Cafe's I was a bit disappointed.
The restaurant is very dated, the food was okay but not as good as I expected. I appreciate that covid has meant a reduced menu but the steak & ribs we had were disappointing.
Staff were all helpful & pleasant though.
We visited on Saturday night to take my 8 year old grand son, as we did many years ago for my own children. The place hadn't changed in all that time, service was very slow and we sat for 25 minutes before getting asked about a drinks order. food was basic, low quality, fast-food with expensive restaurant prices.. for 4 adult mains, 2 starter and one kids meal and a drink each £184... absolute crap... we will never return and I would never recommend this place... enjoy..!!
The reason I gave a poor overall review, was due to the table we were seated at. We had our two four year old grandsons with us and we were placed in the corner outside the main event area where the animals were. We were unable to move around due to self distancing for COVID. We booked well in advance as a Christmas treat for our grandchildren. We were quite disappointed, as I feel this is the main reason for us taking them to the rainforest cafe. It was explained that there was no room. I feel it must have been bad management or possibly overbooking. We were happy with the food and service
Amazing food, excellent service from Hugo.
Would recommend.
Food quality was very poor and cheap considering the high price of the food. Ambience and atmosphere was very good though but childrens meals were very basic and over-priced. Adult food the same - (we ordered burgers which were extremely dry and cold fries!). Five Guys do a better job! Sorry but not worth the money I paid.
Actual restaurant is amazing. The affects and sounds are perfect. Visually it’s fantastic. The food however wasn’t great and it was very overpriced. The staff were really good but very busy and they needed more staff. Kids loved it.
Truly terrible in every respect. There is no atmosphere. No effort is made with children. The food was appalling. Not even the children would eat the pizza, chicken, or ice cream on offer. It was a total and expensive, disappointment. Never again!
First time to the Cafe. My daughters enjoyed. My 5 year old loved the special attention to celebrate her birthday. Food was better than anticipated. Overall lovely experience.
Very overpriced for very basic food! Service was slow. Waiter bought out plates of food holding them up saying is this yours about 5 times. They should at least know which table the food is going to!
I went with my 2years old daughter she was enchanted even if she’s usually more into princesses than animals
She has been afraid of the gorillas because we were sitting too close but except that she loved the experience
The food was not the best but was ok the portion are very big none our food and everything is halal
I will go again for sure
Service was great, food was quick to arrive- fairly average food for the price but a totally enjoyable experience
Food was terrible. Table was filthy. It was a glorified children's play area, decoration was tacky. Plus considering it's meant to be a rainforest cafe we were disappointed to be served our drinks with plastic straws. Waste of money.
The best thing about this were the staff, who couldn't do enough for you.
Amazing customer service, and really big portion sizes.
Our waiter paid great attention to detail and despite covid, we felt very safe.
I felt the food was very poor. The mash potato had definitely sat for a long time. Even been put on plates way before orders are made. My daughters nuggets were deep fried and very greasy.
Other then that your staff were great and very helpful & your venue is fab for kids.
Amazing location for a first date; food was amazing, cocktails were fun, ambience was brilliant, if only the gorillas a tad loud! Seriously worth a visit
Fantastic food and great surroundings . Me and my 7 year old loved it !!!! Magical
Good atmosphere but could be a little loud. Food good. A bit on expensive side.
Amazing place, very nice and helpful staff, tasty food. Will repeat the experience! Thank you so much!
The restaurant itself is amazing, the wild life, the design, the decor all gets an A*, wonderful place to experience, the staff are super friendly and helpful, they are also very interactive with the children, taking them on a journey through the forest and naming the animals on the way to the table. The children also had a little play and run around with children from the other tables and had a wonderful time.
The food on the other hand was definitely not worth the price. I was extremely disappointed with my pasta, it just was not nice at all, I opted to have the chicken option which consisted of very large unflavoured chicken which was just thrown into the bowl... The other adult meal was the lamb shank... Not as bad as the pasta, but still not that great. The children's options were simple and basic and should have cost half the price.
I would recommend the restaurant as a grey experience for children, its possible the option of ribs or burger and chips may have tasted better
Great for children food has really improved my son loved it
Service was great as normal but the ambience in covid times and the quality of the food made for a surreal experience.
Food was shocking, absolutely disgusting.
Restaurant was cold. Very worn and dated. Cobwebs above my head.
I haven’t been since I was a child and it’s safe to say I will not be returning.
Poor slow service, overpriced food- probably microwaved!
Venue was lovely for my 2 year old who was obsessed with the animals but really let down by greasy basic food.
Went into the restaurant and was put very far away from any action, not due to being covid safe just far away in a different section. It was very cold and had to keep out coat and scarf on. Couldn't wait to leave just because of the temperature. A shame because I love it there and normally good
