We were the only people in the restaurant so it was lacking in atmosphere. We had the Sunday roast which was slow cooked beef, which melted in your mouth. The vegetables were crunchy and the Yorkshire puds were homemade. Very odd red cabbage addition which tasted almost like it was caramelised and heading towards a chutney. We were served by friendly and helpful staff who did their best to make us feel welcome. Overall pleasant but will go back and try the evening menu next time.
