   Visited on a Sunday at 1:30pm. Weather was glorious and it was exceptionally busy. Had to ask twice if our table was ready outside. Eventually shown to our table, no explanation as to how their system worked, it was our first time visiting. Had to wait over 45 minutes for our food which was ok. All four of us had the chicken supreme which wasn’t very hot. Constantly had to ask for cutlery ,condiments and the bill. Lovely setting however if we returned it would only probably be for a drink.

   Good, as always. I mean it's not amazing, but the food is good and reasonably priced, the service is friendly and efficient, the ambience is great... if you were going for a once-in-a-lifetime dinner out, I'd say look elsewhere. But for a good meal in a good place at a good price? The Red Lion Bishopgate.

   Good friendly pub, good atmosphere and Gluten free options. Three of us had fish and chips, which was very nice and the fish was huge! My husband had sausage and mash and was disappointed as he thought the sausages were bland and had food envy when he saw the fish and chips. All in all an enjoyable meal with friends 😋

   My 3rd visit this year and never a disappointment. Really good value. Very pleasant staff. Excellent coffee. Lots of room between tables which do not wobble.

   Really lovely lunch. We were a last minute booking (30 min) before booking time with an extra person. The staff were very friendly and able to accommodate the third person.

   The venue is very smartly decorated. Staff were very friendly. We all enjoyed the fish sea bass/cod. Lovely by the river will return

    With a FOC reservation, we were allocated the sofa area, with additional tables and chairs. A very nice place. Food was okay: main course was only decent, but the dessert was very good. Service was adequate: polite, efficient, but not particularly friendly. Facilities were all good. Would recommend to anyone.
