Steeped in history this 13th Century Hall House has been totally refurbished by the family White. It retains many distinctive character features including exposed beams, flagstone floors and crown post ceiling and an inviting log fire. Clever contemporary features now lend this remarkable building a comfortable atmosphere, which cannot fail to charm. Outside further delights await.     This was our first visit and it was a very plesent experiance, the service was very good we went the Jubliee weekend and they had a band playing outside.

    First visit to the Red Lion as only moved to Faversham 18 months ago, but what a wonderful pub. Great food, service, lovely surroundings and will definitely be going back very soon!

    Snacks and main courses very nice. Bit of a let down for one of the deserts which sounded far better on the menu than the taste it delivered. Very friendly staff and management but we were left quite a while after mains and had to request to order dessert. The goods outweigh the not so goods.

    On a busy Mother’s Day we enjoyed a very good roast lunch that looked and tasted freshly prepared. The service was swift, efficient and friendly. The pub is warm, cosy and inviting; I’ve been before and will come again.

    We got a last minute reservation as we driving through the area and saw the pub was a highly rated on open table. Staff were so friendly and attentive, food was delicious and the pub itself was very well kept. I had the sea bass special and my husband had the chicken breast, both loved them and cleaned our plates. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back ourselves one day. Thank you!

    The 4 of us all chose to have a Sunday roast - 3 meat and I nut roast. We all thought the food was great and the service was fabulous. Lovely pub and a great atmosphere. Would recommend.

    Good food and excellent service. The Red Lion adds a 10% "discretionary" service charge to all meals. A lot of restaurants seem to be doing this now, probably to compensate for lost income during lockdown. This always makes me feel uneasy, because if you don't want to pay it for whatever reason, you have the embarrassment of challenging it, often in front of other customers. I'm not against tipping for good service but I don't like beding held to ransom in this way.
