Excellent experience. Can’t wait to return for another meal.
The food and service and atmosphere was outstanding. Everything was cooked perfectly. Would try to come again at next opportunity.
Outstanding service, beautiful view, delicious food. The chef stopped by our table that made it extra special.
Everything was excellent.
Exceeded our expectations - the chef and pastry chef, who was also our waiter, were amazingly creative, as well as friendly and interesting, explaining everything we were eating. The view was gorgeous too. It was fantastic!
The setting is spectacular and the food is wonderful. They are very careful about Covid precautions.
Absolutely fabulous meal start to finish! Loved every bite and the staff were all genuine and nice. Looking forward to our next meal there!
It was an all around wonderful and unique dining experience. The food was artistic and delicious and service was amazing. An enchanting evening!
Fantastic experience dining at The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm!! We were seated overlooking a bluff and the Potomac River as the sun was setting. Service was outstanding and we enjoyed an eight-course meal under a tent canopy with Edison lights providing the ambiance. All food was organic and much of it grown or raise on the farm or at nearby farms. All in all, a wonderful evening not to be soon forgotten. Highly recommend!
Our meal at this esteemed restaurant was all we had hoped it would be. The service was perfectly paced and friendly. Tables were spaced well outside on the patio.
Absolutely incredible all around. The experience is worth having many times a year for all different occasions. The staff are very organized and knowledgeable. The drinks are uniquely crafted and well paired. Every bite and every plate gets better and better throughout the night.
What. A. View. (Oh, and the food and service are also top of the line.)
The outdoor dining patio at The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm offers one of the most arresting views and experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant.
The food was immaculate. The service was phenomenal. The owner of the establishment was right there at the front of the dining area, greeting arriving patrons.
Her being there provided a very lived-in, welcoming, and open experience.
The only way to truly describe the delicious food is for me to tell you that you need to experience it firsthand and as soon as possible. The menu changes seasonally. I don’t doubt the next menu won’t be anything less than amazing, but what we had when dining there was easily a top-tier meal I’ve ever had in a long history of James Beard Award and Michelin restaurants.
Everyone who worked there was attentive and friendly, yet professional. It’s a hard line to navigate. They all did it well.
I want to especially thank Alex, Ty, and Eddie for their amazing attention to detail when taking care of our table.
You guys are the best.
The view was gorgeous. The most memorable dining experience to date.
My wife and I were celebrating my recent retirement and the setting could not have been more perfect. I have wanted to eat here for some time, but for the past six years we spent most of our time in Japan with my job. Upon returning to the US, this was my first choice of places to celebrate. The food and service were absolutely fabulous. The local sourcing of ingredients matched our experience in Japan as did the seasonality of the cuisine. The staff was attentive and informal without being intrusive -- in a word professional. The setting was marvelous and will, no doubt, be even better as autumn ripens. I look forward to dining here in the future and experiencing all the seasons.
My husband and I went for brunch at Restaurant at Patowmack Farm for our 12th anniversary, and could not have asked for a more special experience. We were blown away by the quality of service, food, and ambiance. This is now our favorite place to dine for special occasions. They made us feel so special, and the food is spectacular. Our server, Ty, was especially attentive and helpful. We loved the experience so much and can't wait to come back for another meal!! Thank you!
This was not only a very special and fantastic dinner it was more of an experience. We enjoyed everything that was serviced and the wine pairing was spot on. The staff, owner and chef all came out to great us and talk with us. Very friendly. A once in a lifetime dinner that we enjoyed for our 33rd Anniversary. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Perfect night with unique food for our anniversary celebration!
The most incredible you'll ever having while dining outside! Very creative food and outstanding service from the entire staff.
We can't wait to go back again.
Wonderful brunch experience at this lovely restaurant in the most bucolic setting. Teres Major and swordfish were excellent. Beet salad was spectacular. The tagliatelle was... not the most exciting. Desserts, drinks, simply great.
Thanks for a very special experience for Sunday brunch. Beautiful view combined with outstanding food and service made for a perfect day.
8 course meal; every one a surprise.
I was planing for a lunch date to kick start my wife’s birthday week. Finding the restaurant no big deal. We were sitting in the patio and views were phenomenal. Greeted at the restaurant and were made to sit on our reservation table right away. However, we were not attended by our server for almost 15 minutes and no server came to introduce themselves. I had to get up & ask for them to come take our orders. Food was served in order abd it was just delicious. Everything dish was very well thought out. We were explained in detail about every dish before being served. Towards the end, they messed up again. Server forgot my wife’s desserts & they had to be reminded again. Ofcourse they brought it!!! SERVICE COULD BE MORE ATTENTIVE.
Love this place!
The steak was delicious and well peppered. But the best was the bread service! Oh my, that biscuit with the butter and the huckleberry jam!
Beautiful setting, ideal for warm weather. Service very attentive, polite, accomodationg. Food inventive, fresh, well prepared. Problem with the TaiYai with lump crab; the crab was invisible and not tasted. We neglected to order deserts on time and they were out (which, on the other hand, means that they were fresh made).
The setting on the porch is lovely. the starter and dessert were delicious. My entree was very disappointing. It was billed as a Thai style noodle dish, sweet and sour with some heat. it was all sweet, cloyingly so. no heat. and I paid $8.00 extra for the addition of lump crab meat and got a few morsels of claw meat.
Perfect to mark a special occasion, for us it was our 19th wedding anniversary.
It was a wonderful experience for my girlfriend and I. The food was amazing and the drinks were great. Can’t wait to go there again.
Exceeded our high expectations! Hope to go back sometime
The dining area is a tent atop a hillside overlooking the Potomac river and Maryland - a majestic view and worth the trip. It has 15 outdoor tables, with great ventilation and lighting. You can get the adjacent private gazebo if you call and pay an extra $100. It is on a farm and must be accessed by driving, so be sure to have a designated driver assigned for the trip. The servers are incredibly kind, talkative, and personalize your experience. The meal is a tasting of farm-fresh, local ingredients, and every plate was a joy. The wine pairing elevated many of the dishes. The chef is incredibly talented and even came to greet the end-of day diners. Would return for a different season's offerings.
For 400 dollar meal for 2, food was not very good.
Amazing, thoughtful food. Attentive service. Overall a fantastic experience!
We absolutely love this restaurant—it’s approach, philosophy and commitment to farm to table. The presentation of the progressive menu was excellent. 3 stars on food because everything was over salted— from the fish broth, the focaccia accouterment accoutrement that came with it, to the amazingly cooked but almost inedible pork dish— because of the heavy hand on salt. Cocktails were so so. Don’t let this review keep you from going though— we will continue to go for the wonderful experience on the whole but hope chef will cover a few holes of the salt shaker.
Absolutely lovely location and experience. Great for foodies. The menu had a welcome message to my group was a special touch. I will definitely go back
Great atmosphere! Great food! Views for days! Must try for fine dining in DMV.
Everything about this dining experience is picture perfect. We will definitely come back again.
We celebrate our dear friend birthday here and we were amazed by the view and the service. The Plating is great but needed some decor a little bit specially the cocktail specially if the mint is beyond reachable. The Black Forest is delicious but Plating is too dull and dark. Need to add color. We had a great time anyway.
The view was spectacular and our outdoor seating and watching the sunset was perfect. The meal was made even better by our server, Michael, who is a great ambassador for Potowmack Farms; they are very fortunate to have him work with them. Every course was described in detail, which we really appreciated. They accommodated my advance pescatarian diet and called to confirm our reservation too. We enjoyed a wonderful Spanish Albarino and took in all the charm of the setting. Everything tasted so incredible; sourcing local from the gardens and local growers and meat/fish purveyors makes a difference. What a treat. We celebrated my fiance's birthday and we feel blessed to be able to enjoy such a special meal.
Wonderful in every way!
