Sourcing food and fulfilling our goals of supporting small local artisan growers and producers and utilizing our farm as the chefs pantry gives us the opportunity to create an evolving menu that draws its inspiration from the seasons and in harmony with the earth. The venue with a breathtaking view and natural setting overlooking the Potomac River is spectacular. Our farm to your table presents local, organic, seasonal cuisine. Dining Thursday, Friday or Saturday evening, Saturday and Sunday brunch/lunch, Sunday supper, a wedding, rehearsal dinner, corporate or special event – we strive to exceed your dreams. The innovative and skillfully executed dishes follow the lead of nature, being mindful of the environment.

Beautiful setting, ideal for warm weather. Service very attentive, polite, accomodationg. Food inventive, fresh, well prepared. Problem with the TaiYai with lump crab; the crab was invisible and not tasted. We neglected to order deserts on time and they were out (which, on the other hand, means that they were fresh made).

The setting on the porch is lovely. the starter and dessert were delicious. My entree was very disappointing. It was billed as a Thai style noodle dish, sweet and sour with some heat. it was all sweet, cloyingly so. no heat. and I paid $8.00 extra for the addition of lump crab meat and got a few morsels of claw meat.

The dining area is a tent atop a hillside overlooking the Potomac river and Maryland - a majestic view and worth the trip. It has 15 outdoor tables, with great ventilation and lighting. You can get the adjacent private gazebo if you call and pay an extra $100. It is on a farm and must be accessed by driving, so be sure to have a designated driver assigned for the trip. The servers are incredibly kind, talkative, and personalize your experience. The meal is a tasting of farm-fresh, local ingredients, and every plate was a joy. The wine pairing elevated many of the dishes. The chef is incredibly talented and even came to greet the end-of day diners. Would return for a different season's offerings.

We absolutely love this restaurant—it’s approach, philosophy and commitment to farm to table. The presentation of the progressive menu was excellent. 3 stars on food because everything was over salted— from the fish broth, the focaccia accouterment accoutrement that came with it, to the amazingly cooked but almost inedible pork dish— because of the heavy hand on salt. Cocktails were so so. Don’t let this review keep you from going though— we will continue to go for the wonderful experience on the whole but hope chef will cover a few holes of the salt shaker.

We celebrate our dear friend birthday here and we were amazed by the view and the service. The Plating is great but needed some decor a little bit specially the cocktail specially if the mint is beyond reachable. The Black Forest is delicious but Plating is too dull and dark. Need to add color. We had a great time anyway.

The view was spectacular and our outdoor seating and watching the sunset was perfect. The meal was made even better by our server, Michael, who is a great ambassador for Potowmack Farms; they are very fortunate to have him work with them. Every course was described in detail, which we really appreciated. They accommodated my advance pescatarian diet and called to confirm our reservation too. We enjoyed a wonderful Spanish Albarino and took in all the charm of the setting. Everything tasted so incredible; sourcing local from the gardens and local growers and meat/fish purveyors makes a difference. What a treat. We celebrated my fiance's birthday and we feel blessed to be able to enjoy such a special meal.

What a wonderful evening! We were seated outside under the tent with fans moving the air so we were comfortable. The view was amazing and the wait staff was professional, knowledgeable and attentive.

The menu looked interesting and we did not know what to expect however, we were not disappointed! Each course built upon the previous and the wines completed perfectly. While each course by itself appeared small, at the end of the dinner we were all pleasantly satisfied and didn't need another bite.

Very enjoyable and we will be back again!

Delightfully earthy flavors with earnest and genuine service. Owner greeting patrons added a welcome personal note. Scenery was nearly bucolic and worth visiting for a truly relaxing dining experience al fresco.

My date and I were both leery about a completely vegetarian meal. We were both pleasantly surprised.

The bartender suggested a local rye in place of my usual Irish. Another one of the staff suggested an excellent wine that went perfectly with the dinner. Each course came out and they were described to us.

We were one of three couples inside, so the atmosphere was quiet and conducive of long talks and of course the view is wonderful.

There are not enough superlatives to describe our experience. From start to finish, the presentation, service and food was exquisite. Clearly creativity is at its prime here. Love it and have already made our next reservation to return. It is an experience that doesn’t come cheap, but we were happy to pay for such an overall outstanding evening.

Anniversary. The entrée sizes were OK for brunch. But we ordered minestrone soup and it was $14 and the tiniest amount I’ve ever seen. It might’ve been about 1/3 of a cup and a good size bowl. The price should’ve been much less or the quantity should’ve been more

For her birthday, I brought my oldest and dearest friend to Patowmack Farm for her birthday lunch. I had looked long and hard for a unique place to celebrate her birthday, and boy did I get it right this year! Such a beautiful and special place with a stunning view, delightful staff and delicious food. Each course felt specially made for us with exquisite presentation and the freshest of ingredients. Despite the hot day, we enjoyed cool breezes on the terrace as butterflies fluttered around us in the surrounding gardens. With a delicious pot of pour over coffee, we chatted for hours and were attended to in a way that left nothing to be desired. You bet I recommend this place! In fact, I'm already plotting my next visit:)

P.S. We watched a bridal shower taking place in their gazebo that can be rented for small groups. It looked magical!

We love coming here. With that said, like so many others, they are not immune (pun intended) to the challenges facing so many restaurants in the COVID era. Our server (Jordan) was genuinely interested in making sure we had a pleasant evening, and we did. However our service was uneven given they team up to deliver each course.
Course two came before course one. Our wines were out of order. Our pre-dinner drinks were delivered after our first course wine. In the end these were minor inconveniences in a night where they were not even half full. Regardless, the food is so delicious and creative and the wine pairings are well thought out. We will keep coming back.

The food was great. The wait staff seems a tad disorganized. We were there last month and never offered coffee or tea. This time we were so I just learned they forgot it last time. On this visit, they were confused as we got two desserts - not complaining there. The food was great and the owner comes and speaks with everyone. This is our second trip there. Another thing is I called in asking for low sodium but I don't think they accommodated my special diet request as things were a tad salty.

Fabulous experience ! The post-Covid kitchen is led by a creative and skilled chef who is incorporating the local produce into the menu in delightful gastronomic treats that satisfy the palate and aesthetic soul. The patio has a wonderful valley view and full sight of Point of Rock Bridge in the distance. Service was attentive, well informed about the menu, and unobtrusive. The wine pairings for our dinner were well chosen! 5 stars plus experience.
