Lovely surroundings and ambience. The crispy prawns followed by monkfish were outstanding. Added to this the fact that you could purchase a very decent chablis by the glass was most welcome! Service outstanding. Highly recommended!

Nicely greeted on arrival. Lovely looking restaurant. We had the 3 x course Set Menu for £38. Very good food and great value for Knightsbridge. Overall a very good lunch. Would reccomend.

Enrico was very nice and really serviced our family very well. He sat us in a corner where we were comfortable and didn’t bother the other guests. You all must get the harissa butter chicken. It is deboned juicy and tender. Steak was delicious but the fish was a little too funky for my taste.

Sophisticated setting with harpist setting a elegant note. Service was outstanding with excellent advice for wine and food selections. The only negative was the food itself. My chicken was rather bland, needed seasoning. My husband’s steak was well cooked but also needed seasoning. Easily fixed to make it delicious and enjoyable meal.

We had suck a lovely time here, from beginning to end. The location is on a quiet street near Harrods. The staff was welcoming from the moment we stepped through the doors. The food was outstanding. I highly recommend the steak tartar and the baby chicken with harrisa butter. Our waiter was wonderful with wine recommendations and lovely to have a chat with! We would definitely come back here on our next trip to London.

I just came home from one of my many visits to The Bar and Restaurant at The Capital and decided it was about time that I leave a very long overdue and well deserved review. In short they are 10/10, 5 stars, excellent. My friends and I have been going here for a while and as we live in the neighborhood, we have lots of options to choose from but we always end up back at The Capital (or wish we had). We are all self confessed foodies and 'drinkies' but we also want and expect service, comfort and atmosphere too-- so we're kinda picky. The Capital never disappoints... the quality and variety of the food is so good- whether you're having bar snacks or you want something more indulgent. And the staff really make you feel welcome, and taken care of... the right mix of fun and humor and professionalism which makes it a great place for relaxation or a business meeting. We've been coming for almost a year now and it's been consistently excellent; hard to find these days. Thank You Capital, see you soon.

Beautiful restaurant with even more beautiful people taking care of you. Had a working lunch and ate the most scrumptious monk fish, the chef even went out of his way to make me a special sauce, as I couldn’t have ketchup. Thank you

For a Saturday lunch, adjacent to Harrods, the restaurant was quiet. The exception was the Muzak which should not be necessary in the right setting. The Restaurant Manager was not around to show us to our table but arrived to take our Order. However, the first course was not as described on the Menu (Smoked Salmon with beetroot and horseradish) It arrived with a crab pate which was changed immediately as my wife is allergic to Shellfish (for one made out of trout). The main choice on the menu was not available. So, I had bavette of beef which was rather tough to chew. My Wife had a nice risotto. We both had desserts. I am pleased we went but, I am not sure that I would return. Reasonable value all things considered.

Afternoon tea was a let down for us. I can’t recommend this for someone else based on our experience. Perhaps this was an off day. I would recommend looking elsewhere for tea service. I will say all of the food being served to other tables did look lovely. The ambiance was also nice.

I was in Knightsbridge for a shopping afternoon and a friend of mine had recommended this place so I decided to check it out. As soon as I walked in I was blown away by the intimate yet modern atmosphere of the place and the lovely service. The food was absolutely delicious and not overpriced compared to other places in the area.

Although the booking didn’t get notified to the restaurant, the staff served and arranged the table perfectly. My guests and we enjoyed the nicely served breakfasts well and I would like to come back here definitely!

I arrived to be told the restaurant would not be serving food because the chef was in a meeting. He was also unaware of the reservation. We had to book a last minute lunch somewhere else.

The food and the service were excellent. However when we arrived the restaurant claimed to have no record of our booking and not even to be members of open table! This caused a considerable delay and spoiled what otherwise would have been a lovely evening.

Booked for two people and had to increase to four at short notice. One of my guests was a vegetarian so I needed to amend the tasting menu to accommodate this. Chef happily dealt with this request and the evening was a great success. Would definitely return.

Pleasant setting, refurbished since our last visit. Serving staff including sommelier were very pleasant and enhanced the experience. Scallop starter was on the small side and the sea bream ceviche starter was misjudged - a ceviche shouldn't taste like a Thai salad minus the sugar and chilli. But mains were all tasty and enjoyable and overall it was a good evening.
