Thoroughly enjoyable experience I would recommend
Only negative point was £7.00 for a bottle of water which I thought was excessive and when given the option I would always choose tap water to be environmentally friendly But was not offered this which was disappointing
Good service, lovely delicious sandwiches, cakes were very sweet and rich but didn’t know the still water cost £7 until the bill came!!
Amazing afternoon tea. Mouth watering sandwiches and scrumptious pastries!
Service was not as good as expected.
The price was incredibly high for what was mediocre cakes, nice scones and nice sandwiches. Tea itself was very good. 56 per person was way over the top compared to the quality of food.
I am an afternoon tea Addict so have tried all the top afternoon teas in London and most of the average ones. I would put this one in my top 3. It has an air of refined elegance without the over the top snootiness that you can find in some of the others. The new fit out is beautiful, the staff are absolutely wonderful - warm, inviting and accommodating. The food was so good we practically had to roll out of there. Special shout out to the sandwich course of the tea - it was the best of all the ones I’ve been to.
Beautiful surroundings, amazing cakes and superb, friendly service.
Treated my old people on this outing! My mom has mobility issues and the maitre d really went out of his way to look out for her.
Had a great time and the food was tasty, even if it was death by sugar at the end!
A very special place for Afternoon Tea. Would recommend for a special occasion.
We went on a busy saturday afternoon to have afternoon tea. I love the fact that you can have many different teas with your afternoon tea. The sweet section they only brought one each for the two of is which was a bit cheeky but you are allowed to request for more which we did. Overall it was an enjoyable nexperience. It was very busy but staff was polite and friendly.
Great Atmosphere. Great service, Great choice of tea. Good value for money.
Really friendly staff. Fresh and delicious food.
Lovely experience, great ambience, decor and afternoon tea was delicious
Stunning amazing service just a massive wow !! Great afternoon tea a must for everyone. Amazing teas served with skill and professionalism. The children's afternoon tea is fantastic our children absolutely loved it and they get to take Bento box home too , great for school pack lunches .
This was our second visit to the Rosebery for afternoon tea. The setting is lovely but it was super expensive - especially the service charge that was added and didn't seem to be negotiable.
Would have like to see out of the windows. When visiting London one likes to see the hustle and bustle of this beautiful city
Sandwiches were amazing. Pastries were disappointing, a tad bland
Very very good excellent service excellent food and very nice people and helpfull
Very beautiful hotel
Breakfast was perfect we will come back if we visit london
Fabulous experience when we went for afternoon tea, especially as they had a full vegetarian afternoon tea menu for my self and my daughter. Will certainly be back again
They managed to exceed our expectations. So far, it is my favourite in London!
Another glorious afternoon tea at the Rosebery Lounge, never fails to deliver on excellent customer service, superb selection of sandwiches and cakes along with a wonderful array of teas and coffees to suit every taste. Thank you for another wonderful experience. Highly recommend.
The waiters are nice and attentive ... The places for sitting are elegant and comfortable
Just friends meeting up for afternoon tea we had a great experience
Birthday treat for my GF. We both loved it. Food was great and cakes are really exceptional and we went for the paired wine option which really complimented our food. Service strikes the perfect balance between attentive and obtrusive. Can’t wait to go again.
Celebrated my birthday here on the weekend. I have been to many afternoon teas in London, and this has got to be by far up there with the best. The service, the outstanding quality of food and flavour and the ambiance surpassed any expectation that I could of had. Will 100% be going back soon!
It was a wonderful afternoon tea.The sandwiches ,scones and the variety of tea was great .
I didn’t know what to expect, but the Rosebery high tea experience somehow exceeded it. Exemplary service, exquisite desserts and teas, sumptuous atmosphere.
I booked an afternoon tea but the appointment was not informed to the restaurant in error. However, we had a good time there with an excellent quality of food& tea
, except a little disappointment of short staff(taking time to get noticed of my call).
I recommend there to my friend.
The Rosebery Afternoon Tea lived up to the reviews I have read online for the most part. The savories and desserts were quite good, especially the Egg Truffle Sandwich. The tea, though on the whole tasted very well, could be stronger. Also, I think the fact that it was pre-brewed before it was served took away from the experience. The art of brewing the tea leaves at the tea table itself is VERY IMPORTANT. BY taking this out of the equation, something in the act of making and drinking the tea is missing.
Rosebery offered an excellent venue for high tea, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a distinguished afternoon with quality services. It was especially pleasant that the tea selection was both diverse and of topmost quality, and we surely indulged ourselves in it. I think that the bottomless tea options were the highlight of the tea, along with the creative combination of tea with sake.
Excellent staff and amazing tea - particularly liked the tennis ball cake!
Fantastic afternoon tea! I have many allergies and have been to multiple afternoon teas and can never partake in the eating portion and the Rosebery accommodated and made it so I could fully experience and enjoy
My favourite afternoon tea in the UK so far :)
Comparing to other London top range high tea restaurant such as claridges and ritz. Rosebery is certainly would be at a similar ranking.
We went their for a special occasion - and that’s what the staff (Anthony, Olivia) did, they made it a special occasion.
Beyond doubt - excellent service from the moment you pull up outside the Manderin. There’s nothing I can fault!
Thank you to all of the staff (concierge, front of house, waitress/waiters)!
Service was really nice and every plate was adorable!!! I’ll come back.
Amazing service. Lovely endless food. Great environment. Highly recommend.
Impeccable every time! A warm welcome, delicious food, attentive yet not overbearing service. Fantastic for dietary requirements, great location.
The sandwiches are really wonderful！The rose jam is great！My mom and i just enioy it so much！Except i can't ask for some more sandwiches to take away.
It was FAB
