Let’s Start with the great hospitality and Greeting 10/10 child friendly 10/10 & the food was fantastic and quantity was great for two adults sharing an afternoon tea. Also ordered a Child afternoon tea which put a smile on my 3 year old and kept her occupied by providing drawings too. to be repeated thank you Fabio and everyone that helped make our experience a wonderful Sunday afternoon tea.
Excellent afternoon tea at elegant atmosphere. Best choice of Gluten-free options I've ever met.
Beautiful venue. Just the right amount of attention, and the sandwiches were probably the nicest I have had for afternoon tea.
Perfectly attentive service. Delicious food.
Fathers birthday which was a lovely surprise for him. Although he is quite a simple man who hates fuss he loved the whole experience.
Wonderful all round. Rebooked for Mothers day. Best afternoon tea in London
Wonderfully sumptuous surroundings for an elegant afternoon tea. The sandwiches are fresh and delicious with flavoursome fillings that are exciting to eat. The scones are light and served with assorted jams and lemon curd. The cakes are a thing of art.
Exceptional service. Unusual sandwiches with great flavours. Wonderful cake selection. Beautiful scones and elegant setting. Keep coming back here and reminded why every time!
very nice place and delicious!
It was a very good time. Many thanks to The Rosebery. Xx
One of my favourite places for Afternoon tea. Great food and service. Had to remind staff for top up tea twice... otherwise I would have given 5 stars rather than 4.
Had an amazing experience at the Rosebery. Would definitely recommend! Stellar food, tea, and service.
It was ok, but not the best afternoon tea I’ve had in London, perhaps my expectations were too high. When I ordered my tea, I asked which was the strongest black tea they had, the English breakfast was recommended. It was pre-brewed and was really weak. I then sent it back and asked for it to be made stronger. I then spoke to the tea sommelier who advised that actually the Assam was the one to have, so I did. That too was pre brewed and weak. So I asked if I could have a pot of tea with leaves in it so that I could make my own strong tea. I finally received again pre brewed tea, and stronger. One of the things I do love about afternoon tea is the traditional way of having tea leaves brewing. Other than that frustrating start it was a pleasant afternoon. The sandwiches and cakes were delicious and the service really good.
Everything is perfect
Traditional Chinese culture and interior blended into English afternoon tea
Great experience. Lovely staff! Would do this again, one of my favourite afternoon teas!
Amazing experience. The only negatives is that it took one hour to bring out my daughters French fries and 30 minutes to refill our teas. Other than that I cannot fault it
So beautifully decorated for Christmas. A delicious afternoon teA, superb service
Loved the service A+ , environment very friendly and cosy , good food and value .
I do recommend for a group
The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays and the ambience would have been perfect, but for the very high noise levels. Your staff was attentive and polite. The sandwiches and scones were excellent, but I thought the desserts were average. I was contacted in advance about our visit and arranged for a special dessert for my friend who is getting married. The message on the plate was supposed to read ‘Congratulations Helen.’ On the day, it read ‘Happy Birthday Helen.’ It was raining quite heavily when we arrived. Staff took our coats and gave us a reclaim ticket. When we were preparing to leave, the staff could not find our coats (ticket seemed irrelevant). Some 15 minutes later they were located In another part of the hotel. They were still wet (we had been there for 2 hours) and quite uncomfortable to wear home.
The best afternoon tea I ever had. The ground lobster Bolognese is so delicious. The service is outstanding, everything is perfect.
Excellent afternoon tea experience! Lovely ambience and great service.
We had a fabulous time, we left feeling throughly spoiled. The service was so friendly and welcoming. The food was gorgeous. Will be returning very soon.
Excellent service a brand new decor and great food
Very very fresh pastries and sandwiches. Almost tried all the tea as the waitress is so keen on helping us try different fine leaves and keep our tea pot warm :) Very tasty food too.
Brilliant service as per usual. Beautifully decorated and recently refurbished. Staff exceptionally courteous and welcoming. Really interesting fillings in finger sandwiches. Artistic presentation in Pastries. Extensive Leaf Teas Menu. Our Birthday Afternoon Tea was very nice.
We began the treat with a visit to the Bar, and enjoyed ice cold Mocktails which were presented in glass teapots filled with colourful flowers.
We shall certainly visit again soon!
Thank you to all the Staff.
Simply fantastic for afternoon tea. Attentive service, well appointed decor and, most importantly, fantastic food.
We were experiencing a Tea Time while vacationing in London! What a beautiful place - everything from the first step to a walk to our table to an amazing service personnel to beautiful decor, fine bone china, delicious pastries, "melt in your mouth" tiny sandwiches, selection of teas, wines, champagnes, and on, and on, and on!!! One word - a WOW! We really loved it and would definitely be back! I hope a few amazingly classy and professional young men that were looking after us will get this message and a pat on their back! You all deserve the highest rating and a great applause! Thank you to All! Warmest regards,
Alexandra Sokoll and Michael Kent
We absolutely love the high tea at The Rosebery Lounge! We have been to a lot of places previously and so far, no other establishment compares. The food is delicious and well presented and the service is impeccable! We look for the best service and attention and always get it from the staff there. Robin has always been gracious and invited us back and we do! In fact, we highly recommend The Rosebery Lounge for afternoon tea at the Mandarin Oriental and our friends and guests are never disappointed!
Amazing service and amazing food! Would recommend to anyone.
Amazing, first rate afternoon tea at the uncompromising Mandarin Oriental.
It was very nice but extremely slow. We had to leave before we could finish all the afternoon tea.
My mum and I went for a belated mothers day. The service from the outset til the end was fabulous. Could not fault anything - can't wait to go back.
Sandwiches were delicious, pastries were beautifully presented. A lovely hand decorated plate was presented to my mum as it was her birthday and staff couldn’t do enough for you. Would recommend to anyone
From start to finish it was an absolutely lovely experience. The food was exceptional and the portions generous. The staff are very attentive and knowledgeable. They made our afternoon tea anniversary very special.
Food was great but the service was very poor and really let the experience down.
I took my mum for afternoon tea and we both had a lovely time , food was lovely and they looked after us really well. Told my sister about and my nieces and they want to go now , so looks like we may be booking another afternoon tea with you.
Booked as a treat to celebrate just getting married. The afternoon tea is amazing with a great selection of cakes and sandwiches & the way it’s served is very unique. I am gluten free and this is by far the best I’ve had, didn’t feel like I missed out. For London I think the cost is good value for money & definitely worth it for a special occasion. The service as you would expect was very attentive, overall very pleased with our experience.
Mandarin oriental standard is certainly there. Service is extremely attentive but the knowledge of the menu, in particular the tea, is lacking. In Asia the tea is a big business and often I go to a restaurant for the specialist who understand tea and my pallete. Savory sandwiches are well done. Food quality is excellent. But if I compare the teas, it's much worse than even the trendy house like TWG!
Too many different servers. Not that good coordinated.
