We booked a table for 7.30, on arrival, we were shown straight away to our table.
We were a little surprised to the volume of diners in the restaurant, only three or four tables were occupied out of about 25 available.
We ordered the wine, which was reasonably priced and very nice.
There was quite a limited menu, but enough for us to choose from. Though it wouldn’t have suited if there was a vegetarian in your group!
We were also a little disappointed there wasn’t a salad or some green vegetables available to order to complement our main meals.
However overall it was a very nice meal experience!
I’m sure we’ll be back at some point soon!

My friend and I were the only people in the place and one of the meal selections wasn't available, however it was rectified although there wasn't much to chose from (she is vegan but will also eat vegetarian). We both enjoyed our meals although I think it was over priced. A larger selection of meals would be a good idea.

The food was very good overall and my 10oz Rump steak was excellent. The service was excellent, the staff was so warm and friendly. I can't understand why it isn't busier? I can only put it down to the walk uphill but so so worth it and of course it's downhill on way back when full of great food.

Lovely food, good value, nice setting. Good beer choice. It just needs more customers during the week. Use it once, and you'll go back. Highly recommended

Good food and beer; friendly and excellent waiter; great venue for an early meal prior to the theatre.
