    Excellent service food and ambience. Staff were professional and polite, food was sublime with good choices and served beautifully. Great experience so will definitely visit again. Lovely interior - not what I expected at all- great decor and layout.

    We are moving into the area and enjoying trying our local restaurants. The Rum Fox was the place we chose for lunch this week. i choose Korean chicken to start and my husband chose the lobster & scollop en croute which were both delicious. For our mains I choose the mince & onion pie and my husband chose the ox cheek suet pudding. I have to be slightly critical at this point as my pie was lacking in flavour, I think the pastry needed more butter or the meat more seasoning I just couldn’t put my finger on it. In contrast my husband’s pie was very flavoursome and he enjoyed it immensely! The huge crispy chips and butter coated veg were delicious as was the millionaire shortbread I managed to cram in for dessert. Overall we rated it a 8/10 and agreed we would definitely come back again. Staff were attentive and efficient Hope this helps

    Me and my partner came here for our anniversary. We were seating straight away and our drinks came promptly. The staff were all very lovely and attentive. The service was quick too. This was our first time at The Rum Fox as a recommendation from some friends. It was such a lovely atmosphere and the food was delicious and stunning presentation. We will definitely return here.

    Our first visit to the Rum Fox on recommendation from a friend . We absolutely love this place and will be returning as soon as poss ! One of the best Sunday lunches we have had anywhere . The pea, mint & lettuce soup with the cheesy potato skin was incredible. 3 had the roast beef and I had the cod and all were faultless. Super friendly helpful staff and there is a lovely cosy atmosphere . Very highly recommend.
