Our experience at the Rum Fox was 10/10. From the moment we arrived, we received a truly warm and friendly welcome, that helped to set the ambiance for the evening. The Sunday Roast was absolutely spectacular, with thought, flavour and detail put into every element. Congratulations on creating such delicious food and a wonderful establishment.

Lovely restaurant with welcoming staff. Friendly, yet efficient service. Food was good quality, albeit the garlic flavour to the vegetables was not to my taste. Catered very well for our young daughter.

We had an absolutely lovely lunch. Outstanding food, wonderful staff and great surroundings in a very comfortable restaurant. This was the nicest lunch we’ve had in a long time.

We were celebrating a 30th birthday, and although not acknowledged the staff were happy, friendly and professional. They worked in a timely manner and as a team

Went her for our wedding anniversary and had a fabulous meal. We had the 7 course tasting menu and each course was amazing. The service was attentive but not too much Not sure which course was my favourite, they were all delicious but think the cod loin won out. Will definitely be coming back again

Fantastic food at a very reasonable price. We were seated close to the kitchen and every plate we saw going out looked amazing! Highly recommended!

A beautiful drive is a prelude to your meal. Parking is tight so we parked for free on the Road opposite. A well presented restaurant with a decent menu including a 7 course tasting menu. Less choice means better quality in our experience. Possibly too expensive for a casual dinner but as a special occasion meal out it absolutely delivers.

Really enjoyed our first visit to the Rum Fox to experience the afternoon set menu which was delightful. The restaurant, bar and service areas are immaculate and a credit to the management. We were greeted by a young lady who immediately escorted us to our table. We ordered our drinks from a very competitive drinks menu and browsed the set menu which offers a choice of 2 or 3 courses. I opted for the 3 course menu examples of which can be viewed online. The food was excellent, served by staff who were both friendly and efficient. There is a 10% discretionary service charge, which goes to the staff and we were happy to pay. We would recommend a visit.
