Always sad to have last pizza of the year but had the Christmas special which made up for it 🎄🎅🎄. Very special place and the reopening after the annual hibernation makes it mark the new year/season. Have a great Christmas and see you in 2024 - big thanks to all the staff x

Basic pizza , nothing special. Waited nearly 30 mins for our order to be taken. Pizzas didn’t come at the same time so partner was finished before mine arrived. Also inside- it is freezing.

The food was delicious and the table was ready on time. Good service but we had a bad seating spot- inside but beside the door - every time it opened we got a major draft so not ideal. So when you’re booking make sure you request a table away from the door. Overall though we loved it.

Really excellent quality (and variety) pizzas at good prices. Staff very friendly and helpful. Possibly because we were up in a corner out of sight I had to go to the dock to say when we were ready to order mains and again when we were ready to order desserts.

The Rusty Oven is always the highlight of our trips to Dunfanaghy. It's a rustic, cool little place with an awesome atmosphere and an even better taste in music. All that before you even try the pizzas - mouthwatering doesn't do them justice. Suitable for family feasts, date nights and catch ups with friends of all ages. If you haven't been, it's an absolute must if you're in the area!

Although one’s initial perception about the venue may be a bit off putting this will be totally overcome by the great food ambiance and service you will receive. Great for a couples night out or a bigger gathering the restaurant is a great spot to eat and socialise

On a very busy Saturday evening (music festival that weekend), we were served, quickly and in a professional and friendly manner. The food, as always, was excellent and generous. The selection of wine is interesting and well priced. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Been trying to eat here for years baed on a recommendation but not always able to pre book at a time that suited and sometimes queues for walk ins were quite long. Having got a reservation this year we were not disappointed. Great atmosphere, friendly and efficient service, good choice of toppings and interesting from our table to be able to see the skill of the guys preparing the dough for the pizza base. Highly recommend.
